Last night I took a P test and with what I could see it came up with a faint line on the test line. This morning I have tested again it is a BFN. I’m so confused, could it of meant something else? Or was I imagining the line?

I can see a line in your picture...

Can you wait a couple of days and try again with FMU? (I know right, so easy to 'just wait a couple of days'!)

I can see a faint line too.
You'd be better using frer as the ones you're using aren't very sensitive and didn't show as positive for me until over a week after I'd got a positive on a frer.

@BDFT yeah it did have a little bit of colour around the edges... okay I will what are FMU? @Littlemisssugarplum88 oh thank you I will try and get some

Rose mine was the same. I use to get stronger lines with second morning urine don't know why.

FMU is first morning urine. It's most concentrated then so better for testing.

Try a first response they're the best from what I can gather x

Ya they were the correct result. I never got any line on them except when I was expecting.. I used those cheap Internet ones too and the second urine was darker two days. The day I got my positive the fmu was negative but I said I'd waste another test and try again the second was positive and the same day the frer was positive too without much holding.. Hopefully it will be the same for you.

Hi I need some help! Im trying ttc baby number 3, been having some pain on my left side so decided to do a p test yesterday and a faint line came up within the time frame but the more I look could it just be an Evap?
Any advice welcome, thank you so much

oh i just have to be patient, what is Evap do you think that could be what mine is? i know the test i did this morning was the FMU but the test last night with the faint line was late night urine.

Rose0804 an Evap is evaporation line, it can happen with some tests depending how long after you looked at the rest of that makes sense?

I'm not sure as came off the pill in September and periods have been all over the place or nonexistent! I had some spotting last Tuesday but nothing came of it

The first response one are the ones recommended. My friend tested negative for 6 weeks! Doctor said it was a kidney infection. But then a positive after 6 weeks. She was due the same day as me. Mad.

Hi I hope you get the clarity and answer you're wishing for soon as the wait can be agony! I have to say that if budget can allow I would suggest some pink dye tests - like the first response ones. From my personal experience these internet cheapies seemed such good value for a bulk buy - but I instinctively never trusted them and had a few smudgy evap lines too so ended up clock watching until 9am and dashing to boots - so all ended up a false economy! I also carried on testing (addicted in weeks 3/4/5 of early pregnancy and anxious!) and found that my internet cheapies never really darkened and lots of duds. Good luck!!

Oh wow that is promising! I just did an FRER but came up negative so unsure now Confused
