Hi all,

I wonder if any of you could reassure me.

I came off microgynon to try for bubba number 1 at the end of November and had my normal withdrawal bleed. 5 days, heavy and painful.

Aunt Flo next arrived on 2nd January. Later than I thought. I came on in the evening, the next day it was very light and the day after barely there. By evening of 4th Aunt Flo had already stopped.

Next Aunt Flo was 9th feb. Again I came on in the evening. The day after was normal, heavy with some mild cramps. The 11th was so light it was barely there and by the morning of 12th it had stopped!!

Is this normal? Is this going to affect our chances of conceiving?

I was totally expecting them to be absolutely horrendous as that’s why I was put on the pill in the first place. My periods were so heavy I would pass out from both the pain and the blood loss so this is all a bit odd lol.

If anyone could shed any light I would be eternally grateful xx

Sounds like mine. I also had horrendous periods in my teens and twenties. Age changes everything.

This is exactly the same as me! Was on Femodette for years to manage endo, since coming off in November and TTC periods have been light, short and relatively pain free. I'm hoping it doesn't affect chances of conception each month, however I have had spotting in luteal phase so potentially my progesterone levels are low and still need some time for hormones to balance out
