I had my implant out on the 6th February 2018. I had sex 2 days prior and have had sex a couple of days after removal. I’ve now started having severe nausea in the morning, tender breasts and increased tiredness. Could I be pregnant and is it too early to test?

Only way to no is to test

Is it not far too early to tell? Would only be two weeks

Yes you could be. Technically your fertility can return immediately and if you were at the right point of your cycle it’s possible.

Test at the correct time :)

Very true. I’ve not had AF yet!

If your implant was coming to the end of its life then its perfectly possible.Even if it wasn't, I got pregnant with the implant in after 18 months!

Say you ovulated and conceived as soon as your had your implant removed then a positive could technically show on a test 10-14 days later depending on the sensitivity of the test used. If you do test and it's bfn you may not be pregnant or it may be too early x

DS - dear son.

I was told, when my implant was taken out, that my fertility would be back to normal that night and that if I wasn’t TTC, then I had to take extra precautions and be very careful. I fell pregnant with my daughter that month so yes, entirely possible.

I got pregnant 6 weeks after removal sadly ended in ectopic but they did say fertility returns straight away. So it's possible i also didn't have a period after removal (didn't have any on it either) keep testing every week till you get bfp or af x

Just thought I’d add, I came off the implant and had the exact same. I still get those symptoms and I’ve been ttc for 18 months now without a single pregnancy
