Tried and tested cheapie tests

My AF arrived today, I am into cycle 8, so I am looking at buying some more pregnancy tests for next cycle. I bought the One Step tests last month, but looking at some threads it seems lately they dont seem very reliable despite being advertised as 10miu. Does anyone recommend any cheapie tests (Asda, poundland etc) that worked well for you, especially if you tested before AF was due?

I always used Clear and simple. You can get them in Savers, Wilkos and a few other places. Not the most sensitive but they've been released able for me.

Tesco own brand Grin Three positive results for three pregnancies, in fact I left the second test in the box after getting a positive for DD1 and used it two years later for DD2 . Mind you I only tested after about 4-5 days late so not sure how sensitive they are before you’re due
