Ttc after a d & c. What are your experiences?

Hi. I'm having a d and c in two weeks due to suspected endometriosis. I was just wondering if anyone could share with me their experience of ttc after a d and c?

I had a d & c after a blighted ovum (when the embryo doesn't develop at all and all you're left with is the egg sac and developing placenta). I waited until I had a proper period, which was about six weeks after I think. The next cycle was a bit off (much shorter than normal) and I didn't conceive. The cycle after that I fell pregnant and went on to have a healthy DD (now 11 months). Good luck and hope all goes well.

I had a D&C after a mmc, it then took me 11 cycles to conceive again. My periods were a lot lighter at first, so I don’t know if my lining was a bit thin and if that contributed to the slightly longer time ttc, but all turned out well in the end. Good luck!

I had one after a mmc and got pregnant about a month later. We were unsure whether or not to try so soon after but all was fine. That was over 4 years ago. Best of luck to you.

Sorry to hear your having a d&c.
I had a d&c at 11 weeks December 2017, went on to have a chemical in Jan 18, doc said maybe I should wait but... now in my two week wait again...

Thanks for your responses! Good luck where did the back boobs. I feel like this is the year I try everything I can because I don't know if I will have the emotional energy to keep trying for years. I am pretty sure I have some kind of scarring or endometriosis. Hopefully this will give me a chance to start ttc with a clean slate.

I have endometritis and has a d&c for a mmc several years ago. I got pregnant on my third cycle. Good luck.

I had a d and c in may. Waited for next period which took 6 weeks. Got pregnant that cycle with twins! Currently 32 weeks.

It was emotionally very hard but dd was healthy
