Hi ladies just looking to see if there anyone else on here testing using ovulation test strips and having any luck I've been testing everyday 2 a day since af to make sure I do not miss the surge but only getting negative so far and some times when I pee on them in evening it's very light line (next to nothing ) anyone else have this ? Or tried using clear blue and found it easier ....

What cycle day are you on and how long is your cycle? I personally never got a positive on cheap opk's only clearblue advance. I also discovered I ovulate much later than I thought.

You've probably just haven't ovulated yet then. Last month I didn't ovulate until cd 25 and had a slightly longer cycle that month.

I use both tests but ran out of cb this month and been using cheapies I've played really late this month usually cd 16-17 but this month is cd23! I have lost a but of weight so I think that delayed it this month. Just keep testing that's what I did and finally got my postive yesterday and today x

Stee1 · 18/02/2018 11:23

Kirstylee95 · 18/02/2018 11:38

I'm a serial tester 🙈 so about 12ish then 4ish then 8ish. I do a few in between too lol but with late ovulation this month I've gone through at least 30 cheapies. If I'm in work then usually when I get home around 5 ish x

Darkstar4855 · 18/02/2018 12:14

I could never get the cheap ones to work so use the CB advanced digital.

Kirstylee95 · 18/02/2018 12:28

@Stee1 I'm the exact same with being a serial tester I've been doing them since af as my periods been all over the place for 8 months now and I've just started doing them 3 times a day ! Fingers crossed for us ladies

Kirstylee95 · 18/02/2018 14:28

@Darkstar4855 ! My test finally Arrive so I done it and it says that no lh surge has been detected but I have done it at this time whereas on the leaflet inside it says to use morning urine ! Me and oh are gunna baby dance everyday in hope we catch it x

First time using clear blue will always be negative x

Darkstar4855 · 18/02/2018 15:02

You are probably a bit late to start CB this month, you’d be better off saving them for next month and just doing it every other day or so for the next week to cover this month.

Kirstylee95 · 18/02/2018 16:20

@Darkstar4855 I haven't yet ovulated tho
As been using ovulation cheapy strips to test so why abit late ?

Kirstylee95 · 18/02/2018 16:21

I found the cheap sticks fine. I used them twice a day alongside an app called Clue (between 10am and 12 and then again at 4ish). I found I ovulated much later than I thought and had a fairly short luteal phase of about 8-9 days.
