Implantation bleeding?

I'm 14dpo today and have had mild cramping throughout the tww but no other symptoms at all.

Woke up this morning and had a fair amount of rusty coloured blood on wiping. Thought it was AF so stuck a pad on. But as the morning has went on it gradually went light brown and stopped! It never made it to the pad and was always just when wiping.

I did a frer this morning before I realised I was bleeding and it was negative. Is there any hope at all that this isn't AF? Has anyone had a negative at 14dpo and then it's turned positive?

If you’ve got a negative on a FRER at 14dpo then no, I don’t think you are pregnant. Also it’s fairly common to have brown spotting before your period starts even if you don’t normally get it. It does sound like your period is about to start, sorry :(

I suppose I'll have to wait a few days and see if it gets worse. I never ever have spotting before a period, and normally I have worse cramps and sore boobs. TTC is the worst!

I know! I usually have brown spotting the day before af and I usually get cramping and sore boobs during my tww but sometimes I don’t get any of that. Last cycle my boobs hurt from the day I ovulated until a few days before af came. This month, my boobs haven’t hurt at all apart from today when my period is due when normally my sore boobs have trailed off by this point. After doing this for so long, I’ve come to realise there’s no pattern to anything when you’re ttc lol

Not a helpful answer I’m afraid but I had this a couple of days ago and got excited about it being implantation bleeding but still getting negatives on FRER so I’ve resigned myself to it not happening for me this month. I know how you feel though, I never have spotting before AF so thought it had to be a good sign. Maybe our bodies are just playing hilarious tricks on us Hmm

Thanks Ronnie. If it's my body playing a trick I'll not be impressed with it at all! We DTD loads around ovulation this month and I had high hopes. I haven't been getting my usual tell tale signs of AF this month either.

I feel your pain. Me and my partner was intimate Wednesday night. Afterwards I noticed I was bleeding. Really faint pink though. Since then nothing. Cramping like I’m going to come on and waiting for it but nothing. Boobs sore too. Think I’m going to have a period. 😔 9 months we have been trying x

If you are certain of when you ovulated then it's highly likely you aren't pregnant as 14dpo is too late for implantation bleeding.

If it was implantation bleeding you won't get a positive for 2-5 days (was 5 for me).

I'm not 100% certain as I don't temp. But I had a positive opk in the evening of the 2nd Feb and dtd twice on both the 3rd and 4th. Would that timing still mean I'm out?

All bleeding stopped now, id say it was only there for about 2 hours this morning. Really doesn't feel like AF.

If it was implantation bleeding you might not get a positive yet. I didn't get a positive till about 16 days dpo. I do remember cramping like I was coming on. Good luck!

Sorry was also meant to say I did test at 14 dpo and it came out with a very very faint line. So faint I nearly threw it in the bin. Two days later (I couldn't wait any longer) it was positive.

This is really helpful as I think ive has implantation bleeding.
I used OPKs and got a positive on CD14 and cd15.

7dpo and I got some light brown spotting/bleeding which has gone on for 3 days getting even lighter today on 9dpo. I've had mild cramps too the last 2 days.

I'm due AF next thurs but not sure when to test xoxo

I know it's hard but try not to do it too early. I would wait until your due on at least. I first tested the day I was due on with a test that said works three days before a missed period and got that really faint result. Keep us updated got my fingers crossed for you Grin

Arhhhh this is happening to me tonight also! I thought I was 11 DPO but now I'm not sure?!? Brown when I wipe with cramps but a negative on a frer today.... keep me posted :)

Thanks for sharing your experiences ladies! I had one wipe of red this morning and then it changed to light brown spotting when wiping. Nothing reaching my knickers. Cramps are worse this morning and it feels like I should be starting but when I run to the toilet it's just barely there brown. Cramps are a bit sharper than they usually are with AF.

Think I'm in same situation. Period was due Saturday and had some red/brown stuff on tissue when wiping yesterday and today. May have had a faint positive but think my tests were invalid as I stored them somewhere warm! Waiting to test tomorrow morning now on FMU.

Fingers crossed for us!

I tested this morning and got BFN on a Superdrug test. Not even the ones renowned for false positives can give me a positive Grin haha. On the plus side I've had no blood since yesterday morning, and my boobs are definitely more tender from last night. I've ordered some frers to come tomorrow (god bless Amazon prime!) So keeping my fingers crossed

@weasledee sorry to hear that I remember the disappointment but keep positive. I always say to friends try not to think too much about it and keep busy. I got pregnant the month we moved house I had barely thought about it that month and we hadn't tried as much!

Afternoon ladies,
I'm 7-8 dpo & Just got some brown bleeding, I was on CD 21 yesterday so hoping It's not AF arriving early! I'm experiencing some very light cramping on the left side, very tired and slightly nauseous all of which are signs of AF too ☹️
Fingers crossed It's implantation bleeding though my periods are all over the place so god knows 😩

Has anyone had much experience with implantation bleeding?

I wrote yesterday I have started a bit of brown bleeding, today is the same though a little more than yesterday but still brown not like my period bleed. I also feel very nauseous which I don't when starting my period, feeling very tired and also just done my basal temp which I've never done before and it read 37.4.
I usually get a few spots when I'm due on which I haven't got now. I was on CD 21 before I started the bleeding.

Does anyone think it could be implantation bleeding? I know only time can tell and to leave it a couple more days before doing a test.
