Blood test for HCG levels

I have a blood test on the 6th March to check my progesterone peak, by which point I will be 10DPO(ish). We are trying this cycle between 20th-25th February with estimated ovulation date on the 24th. I'm just wondering if there's point in asking for my HCG levels to be tested too, is it likely to show up that early? I wasn't planning on testing until 13DPO earliest but if I'm already getting bloods done I might as well. I just don't want to rush ahead!

Isn't test a bit late? Should be 7 days before next period due? Wouldn't bother with HCG no.

Yes but 7 days after would be a Saturday and the next available slot they had was the Tuesday :(
