2nd chemical in a row

Just that really. Had one in Jan. Should be 5 weeks but had spotting so retested and BFN. Have DD 17 months so I know I can carry to term but still feel pretty crap and worried it will happen again now I've had two. Anyone got any positive stories?

@foreverclockwatching sorry I can't offer you a success story but I'm right there with you! I had an early loss at 6 weeks in December then again at 5 weeks in January. Just got a positive opk today so we're trying again this cycle. If the same thing happens again we will have a month off and see if that helps.

It doesn't help to hear this but my GP has reassured me that at this stage it's still considered 'normal'. It could indicate a problem but she's told me not to start worrying yet. I personally have been advised to take low dose aspirin as a precautionary measure, folic acid and vitamin d. Obviously I wouldn't recommend taking anything without your own doctors recommendation. She's also tested my tsh which came back at 2.57 but said that's ok so just to keep trying.

Oh and I already have children although they are older so I know that I have previously been able to carry to term also. I was younger then so that probably helped but I was also not as healthy as I would consider myself to be now x

I had 1 in Oct 2015, March 16,April 16 +mmc in July at 8 weeks. Age related I assume.

I had two chemicals and then conceived DC2 in my late thirties.

It can work out still.
