Short follicular phase

Does anyone have any experience of this? I ovulate early (around day 9/10) and have been ttc without success so far.

I have a regular 28 day cycle, with a 5 day period, so everything else seems ‘normal’ except this. I’ve read this is common in older women nearing menopause, but I am late twenties.

Would the GP talk to me about this yet, as we haven’t been ttc for a full year yet and I don’t think they will investigate until after that?

What's telling you that you ovulate this early? I have never heard of a 17 day luteal phase...

I don't think a gp would be interested until a year. Generally a long luteal phase wouldn't be a problem, so it shouldn't worry you. Just make sure you Dtd early enough, but I'd suggest you keep up Dtd until cd 20 every other day.

OPKs plus monitoring CM. Sorry, have just realised OP says 28 day cycle. It is 27 days, occasionally 25 or 26, but mostly 27.
