False positive on internet cheapie midstream test?

Hi, I actually posted not that long ago about how my period was really light this month...I took an FRER 11 dpo which was negative, then a superdrug test on Saturday (16 dpo) (not FMU though), which was negative, and then this morning (19 dpo), I used an internet cheapie I had bought so I didn't waste loads of money on tests....counterproductive as I will now want to buy loads to confirm!

I'm wondering could the internet cheapie be a false positive? The line is clearly there and came up after 2 minutes, although it doesn't come up well in the photo, but it is not as dark as the control line which I would expect given that I would be almost 3/4 weeks pregnant now...

I would say it's a positive I never got a dark line for any of my three dc.

Looks like a positive to me! Congrats

Maybe try a frer or digital one to confirm!

Haha thanks, my husband thought I was nuts as I'd already got 2 negatives...but my boobs were so much tender than they usually would be.

Mindhunter - that's very reassuring, thanks.

I will now probably spend a fortune on clearblue/frer. Kind of in shock!

Cracked and peed on my superdrug test...also positive. Shit! Feels very real now. Still spotting & have cramping though - is it a sign I'm losing it?!

Spotting and cramping is quite normal in the first trimester of pregnancy! My first pregnancy I didn't have any but my second I did and I was convinced I was loosing the baby but here I am almost 36 weeks and waiting for his arrival! Good luck @Alyosha x

I had cramping and bleeding early on with DD. Healthy pregnancy.

I had normal af with my eldest and spotting with awful cramps with my second. Just be aware of your bleeds, if it's bright red with cramps then you def have to get checked out xxx

Thanks guys, very reassuring. Very small amount of bright red blood but mostly (tmi) old brown stuff. Seems to be dying down a bit...FRER also positive but quite pale pink...seems like it ought to be stronger, but as they say, a line is a line!

Have bought a digital for my FMU tomorrow :D

Most annoying thing is that I took a test on Sat to see if I could drink...it was negative so I had 4 glasses of wine. Eek!!!
