Hi all. Recently had my thyroid tested and my tsh has come back at 2.57 so within normal range 1-5 for the average jo. Is this ok when ttc however? I only ask as after two early losses I've read it should be between 1-2 ideally when ttc. Tia

My consultant has told me it should be less than 2.5 for ttc xx

Have you actually got hypothyroidism? If you are on medication for it ideally for pregnancy tsh should be less than 2, for the average person normal for our local lab is 0.35-3.5 so in the normal range x

I have an under active thyroid and was advised by my endocrinologist that my TSH should be below 2 when TTC.

Should be between 0.3 - 2.0. I would go speak to your gp about it but lots don't know much about TSH when trying to conceive so you might want to encourage them to discuss with an endocrinologist.
