af just came :(

PassTheAfterEights · 20/03/2018 08:29

Noooo @winterwarmers how completely baffling. I'm so sorry we all got excited. What can it mean? Bloody FRER's. At least AF was right on time but small consolation I know. She's due for me tomorrow, might have each others company next month too.

af was a day late :(

PumpkinPatch000 · 20/03/2018 08:43

Hi ladies.

Sorry I haven’t been around for a while, after getting BFN I was really down and confused with everything.

How are you all?

It’s now been 6.5 weeks since the MC and no sign of AF or BFP. I’m still going ovulation tests and so far have had 4 peaks since the MC which is making me panic to be honest. It seems strange to have that many.. maybe my body is having trouble releasing the egg? I have no idea!

Hope you are all well and there have been some BFPs while I’ve been away! x

TwittleBee · 20/03/2018 08:51

no no no that is so strange Winter sending you so many hugs. I am so sorry! Sad

Pumpkin hi there, yeah it does take a while for body to be able to go back to "normal" after MC. Hope that yours gets there soon!

PumpkinPatch000 · 20/03/2018 08:57

Thanks @Twittlebee I really hope so! Being is this limbo is horrible.

PassTheAfterEights · 20/03/2018 09:01

Hi @PumpkinPatch000 nice to see you - sorry you're still in limbo, so miserable. If you're defo not preg again(?) is it worth checking in with the EPU to see what they say? x

Thanks @PassTheAfterEights how are you? I tested on Sunday with a FRER and it’s BFN still. The last peak I got was the day before less than a week before the last one so I did wonder if maybe it was picking up pregnancy but nope. It had crossed my mind to speak to EPU but I wonder if they’ll just say 4-6 weeks for AF is a guideline and to wait longer. I was thinking maybe wait until 8 weeks and if still nothing then to call them. At this point I’d be happy to see BFP or AF.. just something so I know my body is working! x

PreparingToBeAMummy · 20/03/2018 09:12

I'm still waiting for AF due Sunday but have taken approximately a million tests with no BFPs so wish it would just hurry up!

TwittleBee · 20/03/2018 09:59

oh Preparing I am guilty of this too even though I know it is farrrrr too early haha

TakingtheLeap · 20/03/2018 11:31

Hello all! I'm new here (first cycle TTC #1) but have been driving myself loopy this past week or so. I stopped taking the pill part-way through a packet on the 28th Feb so have no clue when or if I have ovulated this month. But for about the past 5 days I have had the weirdest symptoms. A couple of days of super sore boobs (though more in one than t'other!), very hungry / thirsty / tired, going to the loo a lot (because drinking so much water), and some odd bumps on my nipples (which I have since learned are called 'Montgomery's tubercles'!) have turned up.

I took a (cheapie, Co-op) test yesterday midday, BFN - tried FMU this morning but still negative. I've promised myself I won't try another until Thursday morning. Blush

Thoughts?! If I started having symptoms at 7 dpo (?) then I guess I'd be 12 dpo now which would be early for a positive? How many more tests do I take before I put all of my odd symptoms down to my body coming off the pill and generally trying to mess with my head? Confused Sad

TwittleBee · 20/03/2018 13:46

That is certainly a tricky one! TakingtheLeap ! They do say it can take months before your body returns to normal when you come off the pill. I'd say give it at least another week before you waste more money on more tests?

Although I can't really talk because I've now decide I am going to POAS for sure tomorrow. I will only be 9dpo but AF is due by Friday

winterwarmers · 20/03/2018 13:47

Onwards and upwards to the next cycle I've been accepted onto the clear blue study so will hopefully do that :)

TwittleBee · 20/03/2018 14:07

Oh that's great at least there's that to do for you! I was declined. I assume because I have PCOS.

winterwarmers · 20/03/2018 18:26

@TwittleBee that's not fair, I hope I get chosen to test the products

PumpkinPatch000 · 20/03/2018 18:31

@preparingtobeamummy it's so tempting to test! I haven't got any left and not going to buy any for a couple of weeks lol it's worse when I know they are sitting in the cupboard.

@takingtheleap 12dpo is still pretty early. Some people don't see a BFN until much later like 19dpo so it still might not show up yet.Good luck!

@winterwarmers do you know what you'll have to do for the study? I didn't apply but i'm intrigued aka nosey lol

winterwarmers · 20/03/2018 18:54

i either have to not track or use opk or use whatever they send me plus take pregnancy tests and send pee to them

PreparingToBeAMummy · 20/03/2018 20:02

Well I'm definitely out, AF finally made an appearance. See you in a few weeks!

TwittleBee · 20/03/2018 20:23

winter I really hope you aren't in the control group and get either OPKs or fertility tracker or something

PreparingToBeAMummy oh no!!!!! FX for next cycle xx

vickywood3 · 20/03/2018 20:42

@winterwarmer am so sorry, on to the next cycle! I got a BFN today too. Due af Saturday but feeling deflated! 😭 xx

TwittleBee · 21/03/2018 07:47

I got a BFN too and due Friday. Why do we do it to ourselves and test early?

PreparingToBeAMummy · 21/03/2018 17:36

...so my period vanished? I had enough to change my knickers but then I put a pad on and since then absolutely nothing? What the hell? Took a pregnancy test, still negative.

PumpkinPatch000 · 21/03/2018 18:35

@preparingtobeamummy is there any chance it could be implantation bleeding?

@winterswarmers ah I see. Wishing you luck with it

PreparingToBeAMummy · 21/03/2018 18:36

I don't think so. We haven't had sex since 3rd March!!!

PumpkinPatch000 · 21/03/2018 18:42

Ah a bit late to be implantation then i would have thought @PreparingToBeAMummy sorry things are confusing. i'm still waiting for AF.. yawn approaching 7 weeks now
