Trying to follow Kwick's rules for 2ww, no hot baths / cold veg etc, and not to react to every single twinge Hmm

@PassTheAfterEights how funny we are moving next friday / Saturday to our new flat just waiting for the developers to finish. Just did a walk around the estate though and our mirrored wardrobe has a massive crack on it 😩 hopefully they will fix before next friday

i have not brought any tests from amazon i have 1 ic left over from last month, 1 superdrug tests and another non sensitive one so not too tempted at the moment but my bbt drop yesterday and shot up today as did my heart rate went from 74 to 78 which is unusual for me

winterwarmers · 12/03/2018 09:27

i caved and brought some ICs even though i wasn't going to 😂 internet shopping is the worst sometimes

PassTheAfterEights · 12/03/2018 13:35

That's nuts @winterwarmers MN twins! Hope your move goes well & they fix the mirror, that's dreadful - they have to sort that. very exciting though!! have never done the bbt / heart rate thing - what's the significance of the drop / increase? x

OP posts:
winterwarmers · 12/03/2018 13:55

@PassTheAfterEights normally it's if your temp / heart rate stays higher means you are potentially pregnant

i had really sore boobs today so i got some cheapie tests off amazon

PassTheAfterEights · 12/03/2018 14:02

Oh! Oh that sounds so encouraging @winterwarmers - keeping my fingers crossed that they're good signs for you!! Had very racey heart on Sat but I made cookies (DH reward for FW performance) & think it was the sugar high :( is this TTC#1 for you? Glad you've got the cheapies. I know I'm my own worst enemy but if I can scratch the itch and stay sane for 15p a go I reeeally don't mind.

this is number 2 dd is 17 months old and we would love another with not too big of an age gap 😊

is this your first@PassTheAfterEights?

i know i'm going to try not to poas before friday at the earliest af is due on Tuesday next week

TwittleBee · 12/03/2018 15:25

Hi there, hope you don't mind me jumping in?

7 months TTC #2. First time using OPKs this cycle and got a positive OPK last night so should be ovulating today (CD18). Cycles have been a regular 28/9 days so AF expected on 22/23 March (although would mean a pretty short luteal phase?) Managed to DTD last night so FX! Got hit with symptoms pretty hard and fast with #1.

Good luck to you ladies, hope to see some BFPs! x

HidCat · 12/03/2018 21:44

Question ladies - pink watery discharge after sex - possible symptom of implantation or AF? No idea where I am in my cycle as not had AF since MC.

TwittleBee · 13/03/2018 09:13

Could be a number of things beyond implantation and AF too e.g. might be ovulation or just a bit of bleeding after DTD

Sorry to hear of your loss though with the MC Flowers

PassTheAfterEights · 13/03/2018 10:07

@winterwarmers ah lovely, yeah think that's a nice gap - would similarly like two close together but working on number one right now!!

Welcome @TwittleBee and congrats on your POPK, hope this is your month! are you DTD like mad? we have rather worn ourselves out this month!

@hidcat what TwittleBee said really - could be implantation, could also be a broken cervical blood vessel from being fertile and all the extra blood to the region - either way feels like a good sign. How were your cycles pre-mc and how far along were you, if you don't mind my asking? FWIW mine were regular as clockwork 29 days before mc and I ovulated / came on bang on time in the 'cycle' after mc, treating first day of bleeding as first day of AF. Luckier than many but don't be despondant x

OP posts:
HidCat · 13/03/2018 10:24

@PassTheAfterEights my cycles pre-MC were about 30 days and pretty regular, Ovia tells me I'm about CD 70 now (8 weeks since first bleed of MC so it has carried my cycles forward to calculate) but I was 11 weeks when I miscarried and the HCG has been slow to leave the system as I didn't have a proper bleed, just some spotting. Docs think I reabsorbed everything.

TwittleBee · 13/03/2018 12:07

PassTheAfterEights Yup we have managed to DTD 3 times around the POPK! (as well as a few times before) so Fx! Hope you wearing yourselves out pays off!

AF is due 10 DPO though so starting to realise maybe having a shorted luteal phase might be the issue for us. Started B supplements this cycle though maybe it will lengthen it out for me.

HidCat I know it can take quite a bit of time for cycles to sort themselves out after MC usually as everything has to get back to normal. Hope this happens for you soon lovely. Or even better, you've caught the first ovulation post MC

PassTheAfterEights · 13/03/2018 17:17

@hidcat you poor thing that is so confusing. second what Twittle said - just hope this is your cycle. Are you still following up with docs re no sign of AF?

@TwittleBee that's interesting, know very little about luteal phase but makes sense i guess; well done for getting the cape on around your POPK though, should give you a good shot!!

HidCat · 13/03/2018 18:29

@PassTheAfterEights went back to EPU today to get more bloods and will need another one in a week or so to compare. Hit me like a tonne of bricks today so been wallowing in self pity all afternoon. Getting there though.

MandyBee · 14/03/2018 11:32

AF arrived today so I'm out : ( good luck ladies who are still hanging on in there! How is everyone doing?
I'm feeling particularly rubbish as AF brought a stinking cold along with her too! Onto the next cycle for me...

PassTheAfterEights · 14/03/2018 12:54

Ooh @sexnotgender that sounds promising - when will you test?

@hidcat no flipping wonder, you have been through the mill - absolute hero I say. So glad you're keeping in touch with the doctors and hope they have some good news for you soon.

Sorry March wasn't kind to you @Mandybee v much hope April goes your way and in the meantime that you feel better quickly!

Tested this morning @passtheaftereights BFN but I’m only 10dpo and was using a regular test not an early indication one.
Going to a work thing this evening so will stop past boots and grab an early test.
