Anyone else in the 2ww?

1dpo cycle 1 post-mc, AF due 20/02 - last 2ww thread I was on got me through!

Trying to follow Kwick's rules for 2ww, no hot baths / cold veg etc, and not to react to every single twinge Hmm

Good luck @winterwarmers.

Howard you doing @Fififiesta and @PassTheAftereEights?

PassTheAfterEights · 08/03/2018 11:41

Oh hey @winterwarmers we've synced up - also ovulated yesterday. Both DH and I were starting to feel a bit knackered last night but he rose to the challenge, so to speak, admirably.

I read a poster on another thread saying they'd hated TTC sex - we're lucky it's so far pretty normal and fun but can so see how many months of it would be hard to stay cheerful.

@pumpkinpatch000 just caught up - HOW is your nan? So sorry to read that must have been a grim start to the week. Hope she's on the mend. Think I just saw your update on TTC post thread but any news? x

@xLeanne128 any developments for you? and @Fififiesta still holding out for the weekend?

@vickywood3 - thank you v much, wasn't as bad as Jan - the Feb lines were only vaguest squinters and disappeared by 11dpo, and AF arrived right on time, so think we conceived but failed to implant. Seems sooo much more common than we realise and have learned my lesson re testing at 7dpo. If it happens a third time will prob struggle to treat it so casually but for now hoping it was just bad luck. Any news on ovulation?

fx for all x

Nope! Cd44 and waiting patiently NOT. BFN this morning. Fed up now would just like af to come already so I know my body works! X

winterwarmers · 08/03/2018 11:58

@PassTheAfterEights when are you going to test? didn't our dates match last month too?

dh was fed up of it last night so i treated him to get in him in the mood 🤣

i think i'm done for dtd though i have like a graze where i has stitched pp last time

MandyBee · 08/03/2018 12:03

Me too! I'm a newbie..
I'm on 2ww since donor insemination, AF due 15/3.
I'm not feeling any specific symptoms so not feeling hopeful. : (
Ladies some of your symptoms sound rotten!! : (
Is Sunday 11th too early to do a first response test?
I'm going crazy waiting!

PumpkinPatch000 · 08/03/2018 12:50

@PassTheAfterEights - my nan is great thanks. She is doing very well. The op was a success and she has taken some steps. She is looking so much better already. Just need to get her home now once she is more mobile! Thank you for asking. I was so worried. We are still scared to test lol so putting it off into the weekend. I’ve got a lot of symptoms though and they are a lot more intense than last time. Today I am feeling so sick!! No sign of AF yet and I’m 18DPO today.

How are you?! x

PassTheAfterEights · 08/03/2018 12:54

Ugh you poor thing @xLeanne128, hope it sorts itself out soon.

@winterwarmers yeah i think we did! well - recent behaviour suggests I'll start wasting FRER's at the end of next week BUT it's DH's b'day on 18.03 (10dpo) so will try to wait this month. Talked about wine tasting on the Sat night - obviously spitting in my case.

Welcome @MandyBee and good luck to you x yes I'd prob try a FRER four days before AF due but i am somewhat ill-disciplined, they're 65% accurate at -6 days so there's a chance. But don't put everything on it, they don't get to 99% or whatever until the day of missed period, and many ladies only get their line days later.

Oh fab @pumpkinpatch000 that's fab re your nan, well done her!! Really happy to read this. Hope you are all feeling less worried & she continues to make progress. 18dpo - you're a hero. Hang in there, hope the nausea abates (or not!??) x

OP posts:
PumpkinPatch000 · 08/03/2018 13:03

@PassTheAfterEights thanks so much! It’s a big relief and definitely feeling less worried. Looking forward to seeing her later too. Haha thanks! Not long to wait now and I’m nervous. I’ll be so disappointed to see BFN.

MandyBee · 08/03/2018 13:07

Thanks @PassTheAfterEights !!
I have a feeling I might end up spending a fortune on pg tests!!
I will keep you posted.
Wow PumpkinPatch000 !! Good luck : ) sounds promising..

PassTheAfterEights · 08/03/2018 13:13

@mandybee - the last batch of FRER's I ordered on Amazon, the vendor threw in two of these as freebies

www.amazon.co.uk/15-Ultra-Early-Pregnancy-earlier/dp/B0026RQ75W/ref=sr_1_4_s_it?s=drugstore&keywords=pregnancy+test&dpID=41zY1p4EbAL&preST=SX300_QL70&tag=mumsnetforum-21&ie=UTF8&qid=1520514664&dpSrc=srch&sr=1-4

They aren't as good as the spenny branded ones (as in, they're less reliable a few days out, but they will eventually show a pregnancy if there's one there) but they are a VERY cheap way to scratch the POAS itch without bankrupting yourself...

OP posts:
MandyBee · 08/03/2018 13:20

@PassTheAfterEights thank you! Wow these are so much cheaper! Such a great tip. Ha ha I know exactly what you mean! : ) I have literally no willpower either!

winterwarmers · 08/03/2018 13:28

@PassTheAfterEights i have purposely not got any pregnancy tests this month in hope i won't test early :)

xLeanne128 · 08/03/2018 21:01

Oooo I'm getting excited I have signs of life from the ovaries haha! Pinky cm and a tiny speck of blood. Something is happening hurray!!! Never ever thought I'd be so grateful for AF, would be nice if it was implantation but cd44 after mc I'm happy for anything!! Goodluck all xx

PassTheAfterEights · 09/03/2018 13:05

oooooooooh @xLeanne128 fab news, well done! I never thought CD1 would be such a relief but happy for you x

@winterwarmers OH THE SHAME, my Amazon order of x15 IC's was just delivered. Happier to waste 15p than £3.50 but even I will not pee at 2dpo. I salute you!

OP posts:
winterwarmers · 09/03/2018 13:31

i have managed not to order any yet but we shall see what happens next week also 2dpo is ridiculous (started testing at 4 dpo last monthBlush) i shall not test before friday next week

PumpkinPatch000 · 09/03/2018 20:48

Thank you @Mandybee

@winterwarmers I find that's the easiest way to be less tempted when it comes to pg tests. If they are just sitting there waiting to be used i'm more likely to test early.

that's good news @xLeanne128 fingers crossed for you

It's test day tomorrow and i'm freaking out! Blush

winterwarmers · 09/03/2018 21:03

@PumpkinPatch000 fingers crossed for you tomorrow how are you feeling?

PassTheAfterEights · 09/03/2018 21:05

Good luck tomorrow @PumpkinPatch000 will send BFP vibes x

OP posts:
PumpkinPatch000 · 09/03/2018 21:12

@PassTheAfterEights & @winterwarmers in all honesty i'm dreading it. i'm scared and nervous! I'm scared for BFN, and if it is then what are all these symptoms i've been feeling... i'll feel so filled with disappointment and feel stupid.

PassTheAfterEights · 10/03/2018 10:12

@pumpkinpatch000 don't feel stupid under any circumstances - you wouldn't be human if you didn't get excited. Thinking of you x

OP posts:
Fififiesta · 10/03/2018 13:17

Pumpkin how did it go????

I'm calling myself out, though frustratingly AF hasn't totally arrived yet. I have...well..not even "spotting" just a bit of brown when I wipe. Cramping, fed up and very upset.

winterwarmers · 11/03/2018 14:45

how is everyone getting on :) i am 4dpo and feeling like i know it's not our month already

@PumpkinPatch000 did you test?

@PassTheAfterEights how are you feeling at 4dpo

PassTheAfterEights · 11/03/2018 14:58

Ah hey @winterwarmers I'm bored and fed up, basically! We're waiting to hear on a mortgage application too but completing our sale in 12 days so there's a whooole bunch of limbo-y unknowns out there for us right now. We have major cabin fever! Will start packing in earnest tomorrow which I don't relish but should help distract :/ just want to wind the clock forward a week!

Any symptoms for you? Those I have could all just be progesterone - definite action in the uterus, crampy/bloaty/twingey, sensitive nips and boobs poss a little heavy. Did you buy any tests yet?

PassTheAfterEights · 11/03/2018 14:59
