Im new to this so any help n support appreciated!

I dont have regular periods so I never know where in my cycle I am. Its just a case of BDing n hoping for the best.

We stopped using contraception 2 weeks ago but it feels like a lifetime already!

Does anyone know how long I should wait till I test?

wait for your longest cycle length before you test - or you are having obvious symptoms. Have you tried watching your body for signs of when you ovulate?that may help you work out when to test better.

hello

yes come and join us on the ma\ay thread we're a friendly bunch. re the testing some tests recommend you wait 18 days after having sex - but if you've not ovulated then it would be a waste of money really. any ideas when your last AF was/what contraception were you on before?

ooh I see you had the coil fitted - no idea how long that's ment to take to get things going again iirc from what the h/v told me post ds was the coil when removed fertility would go straight back to normal straight away - how true it is I don't know.

My 2ds we complete accidents so Im not sure. With ds2 I said the day i got pg i was and I was right!

My friend said I could test in a week as that gives me 3 weeks but i dont wanna be dissapointed.

I wouldn't bother going down that road if you can help it because you could start to really do your head in if you get a couple of negatives! When you are pregnant you'll know within 3 months maximum and more often than not you'l know within weeks.
I didn't have any periods so had accupuncture, reflexology and a few sessions of Reiki and it sorted me out and I now have a 10month dd.

GP said i wont be classed as activley trying until coil was out 3 months and it has been. I spotted a bit last week but before that it was about 6 wks!

I did tell my DP we are only bding everyother day coz I read somewhere its better for the quality of sperm or something!

manuka i know what you mean. With the boys i just knew and I was. I always feel like im gunna get af but never do. Maybe its wishfull thinking.

Just had to share this with you. DP came in the other day and told me his mother has told him Im pregnant. Some spiritualist or something !

So him being so convinced I did a test y'day only to be disappointed when it came back BFN but hey i dont even know when af is gunna show so who knows.

But either way he is absolutly convinced I am!
