Implantation bleeding

Hi all, me and my partner have been trying for a baby for ages not and Friday 2nd (period due date) I woke up to a really light period. Normally my periods are heavy and I have bad cramping but I haven't got that this time around. And it's only really brownish and sometimes pink when I wipe and nothing on the towel. Normally my periods last 6-7 days but this morning nothing at all until (sorry tmi) me and my partner just had sex nothing really strenuous or anything and when I wipes it was red. Just really confused could it still be implantation bleeding? Never had a period like this in my life and I'm always pretty regular give or take a few days every now and then. Tia x

Could be - happened to me last month - woke up with what I thought was period then nothing, same next day. Did a test and bingo! Good luck!

My best friend thought she got her period as had spotting on the day it was due, so had a few drinks but it was gone the next morning so she tested and got a BFP. She’s now 6 months along. Don’t want to get your hopes up as could just be AF playing tricks on you (because our bodies are awful!) but maybe take a test tomorrow morning as the type/amount of blood seems unusual for you?

Thanks for your response. I'm so tempted to test tomorrow but really worried it'll be a negative. I was so positive earlier it was implantation bleeding but after intercourse earlier causing the red on the loo paper I'm now panicking. Fingers crossed I will be xx
