Hi all. Recently found out I am pregnant. My last period was 28/12/17 so I have worked out I am probably 5 weeks and 5 days. About a month ago I had cramps in what felt like my left ovary, so I am assuming this was when implantation took place. Only known I am pregnant for one week now and since then I have had random shooting pains in my lower stomach, sometimes my left side sometimes my right side - This isn't constant, it's usually when I move or if I sneeze. Also have had mild period like cramps off and on, usually later on in the evening. And today I have woke up with aching stomach muscles (upper area, just under my boobs) it's as if I've been working out. I am just very worried as I am only nearly 6 weeks so I was wondering if any of these things I've mentioned are red flags?
Thank you for reading

Hi,

I'm almost exactly same stage as you, 5 1/2 weeks. I haven't had shooting pains but definite cramping, much more than I remember with my previous two pregnancies. I had to get a hot water bottle out the other night. So every pregnancy is different and symptoms vary hugely. Have you been to the doctors yet? I would make an appt and you can ask them about your symptoms. I'm sure they'll be able to reassure you and check you over.
