Brown spotting after sex at 6 dpo. Could this mean implantation or...

Some of you may recognize my username - we've been TTC for about 15 months, I had two miscarriages last year and a chemical pregnancy last month.

Anyway so DH and I sadly didn't really get to take advantage of my fertile window this month as he was ill :( we did have sex on ovulation day though but it was the only time in the whole window :(

So yesterday, it was 6 days later and DH is feeling much better so we DTD, and afterwards I noticed a small patch of brown blood on the sheet. There was no more blood when I went to the loo and wiped and there's been no more since (24 hours). My question is, could this be implantation bleeding? Or could it be something else, and do I need to be worried? Thanks in advance :)

I also think I had a very brief episode of sharp pain on the previous day. But tbh, I have been TTC for so long that I might have imagined it :(

6 dpo is a bit early for implantation bleeding I think, but I might be wrong! I would say most likely is your cervix got grazed while dtd?

Yes I think that's most likely it. You know how it is when you want to believe every symptom is a sign of BFP

I have had this before close to when af due I think I was just a but sore. When are you due? The date in terms of dtd seems fine so fx hun! Xxx

Thanks @Owlpatrol. I am due on Friday. CD24 today. I have literally never bled after sex before so I'm really wondering what this could be.

How sure are you about when you o’d? I had a streak of blood the morning after dtd this month and think it could have been ovulation spotting?

And yes, I know exactly what you mean about obsessing over every little thing! It took us 15 months to conceive and I swear every month my body did something “new” that I was sure was a sign!!! It’s really tough so sending massive hugs and fingers crossed this is your month!!!

Pretty certain - I always have very clear signs of O, including lots of egg white mucus and sharp ovulation pains. I am now trying to ignore my body and wait to test when I'll be more sure!

Update! So I had the spot of brown blood after sex on Saturday. Nothing at all yesterday, but today I had another spot of reddish -brown when I wiped, and since this morning (I'm not in UK and it's evening) no more blood but a slightly pink - tinged discharge which has now stopped. I am on CD25 and AF isn't due until at least Friday. Very confused about what is going on! Do you think it could be implantation? Does the additional blood today make it more or less likely?
