Hi so my last period was 7th-10th Jan and spotting on the 11th which is pretty normal, I then had brown with a very slight hint of red discharge on the 22nd Jan. did the deed during my peak fertile days and I’m now 5 days late, I’ve just started coming down with a viral infection but doctor didn’t do a test. Doing one later, but signs which I don’t nomally have so far is being sick 30th&31st Jan (never sick even when I’ve been worse with being ill), very light cramps (normally really bad before period due), clear skin, sleeping a lot more/really exhausted quickly, dizziness, hot and cold moments but having very watery discharge, any help or people experience would help. We have been trying to conceive since December 2017, I am very healthy and my partners got a good sperm count :) thanks

How short are your cycles to already be 5 days late? They must be really short if your last AF was 7th Jan? Have you not taken a test yet? If you are 5 days late it would definitely show by now, good luck

If you’ve only been ttc for two months then it’s more likely that the symptoms you’re having are due to your body adjusting to coming off birth control (if you were on it prior to ttc) Your cycle must be extremely short if you are 5 days late already and it’s only been 3 weeks since your last period... If you are in fact 5 days late, you would get a positive pregnancy test by now. Just to add, illness can cause your period to be delayed, especially a viral infection
