TTCing after Mirena- what's the general consesus?

How did it happen for you?

Had mine removed 2 weeks ago, using condoms till June when we're going to TTC. I'd had it for just over a year. Dr didn't want to put me on the pill just till June as it could affect my cycles to much in a short space of time.

I'm wondering how it generally goes when ttcing after a mirena? I had 4 mc then had ds- I suffered from the mcs and took a while to fall pg but think it was from depression etc, don't think I have any problems concieving.

I concieved the first month we starting TTC. I had my coil removed 3 months before this as suggested by my consultant, we then used condoms until we were ready to try. HTH

we started as soon as I had mine removed I fell pregnant about 3 or 4 months later unfortunately I m/c though

i hd mine out 11 weeks ago and am still ttc.i have found it is taking a while to settle down and my cycles are all over the place, although i am ov'ing, so thats a start!its good you are using condoms for a while because gives you a chance to observe whats going on-i just jumped straight in!
