Mirena coil removal and TTC

Hi girls! First post so forgive me for not using all the right acronyms!

I got my mirena coil removed a month ago after 4.5years with no AF just spotting! I got a positive OPK last Monday and I’m now around 10DPO. I’ve been feeling so dizzy and nauseous with really sore heads. I’ve not seen any implamantion bleeding (maybe this is yet to come?), just wondering if anyone’s been in the same boat or had similar symptoms!

Scared it’s just post mirena removal / pre AF symptoms and not pregnancy! I was going to test on Sunday (one day before AF due and 12 DPO - too soon?)

Thanks in advance!, Smile xx

12DPO may well pick up pregnancy! Def do a test though - good luck!

Thank you! Not sure if it’s a bug, AF coming or signs of pregnancy! Hoping for the latter Grin im too impatient for this!

Just a word of warning- it took me 7 months to get pregnant after having the mirena out after 5yrs (as apposed to only a month with subsequent baby where I had been on the pill) and doctor said that’s quite common as your womb lining is very thin on mirena and it takes a while to get it back to normal. So don’t worry if it takes a few months, it’s quite normal.

OH flip really! My gyn consultant said I would go back to normal straight away and shouldn’t have problems, she actually said if I’d been on the pill it’d take longer! It’s funny how they all seem to give different opinions on it.

At least you got there in the end Smile that’s the main thing and hopefully I can get there too Smile
