Has anyone suffered an ectopic pregnancy before getting a bfp??

Yes, I did. I'm now lying in bed beside 10 month old ds Smile

Be kind to yourself and give yourself time to recover physically and emotionally Thanks it was the single most traumatic thing I've been through

I’ve had one, been trying again for a year now. Fingers crossed for my bfp soon. So sorry this has happened to you. It’s the most traumatic thing that has ever happened to me. Take time to heal ❤️

Yes, had one last September and about to give birth to twins this week.
Give yourself time to heal and recover.
Such a hard thing to go through.

I don't know if I'm going through one 😭 does anyone remember their first symptoms?

Fedupwithchangerightnow · 31/01/2018 20:59

I had one over ten years ago. It was a horrendous and frightening experience that I remember in detail to this day. Be kind to yourself.

Cake20189 · 31/01/2018 21:23

positiveprincess I had stabbing pain in the left side of my tummy and prune juice coloured bleeding. I also felt dizzy. You can also have shoulder tip pain.

EEandEmakes3 · 31/01/2018 21:24

Yes, lost a tube too. I'm now lying next to my 3 month old. Took 2 years to conceive but that was also down to my age. Look after yourself, it will happen for you.

Cake20189 · 31/01/2018 21:26

Hope you’re ok positiveprincess x

Stee1 · 31/01/2018 21:46

Mine was bleeding at 6 weeks went for a scan didn't see anything so bloods done and theu doubled found it in my right ovary and treated with methotrexate that evening. What makes you think ectopic positive princess x

bluechameleon · 31/01/2018 22:02

I have a 3 yr old asleep upstairs and one due to be born on Monday after an ectopic and tube removal 4 years ago. DS was conceived quickly afterwards, this one took a bit longer. It was upsetting at the time but it's not really anything I ever think about to be honest.

Cake20189 · 31/01/2018 22:17

bluechameleon glad to hear things get easier! I had mine a year ago and think about it everyday x

linz84 · 31/01/2018 22:24

I had one about five years ago, we stopped trying for a while after that as I'd had a miscarriage six months before. Roll on to now and I'm cuddling my 1 week old. I convinced myself it'd never happen, so glad it did.
