Question about Ovia app

I'm TTC and using the Ovia app. I have a 32 day cycle and i was in my fertile window according to Ovia. I added data in the app to say I had egg white discharge and a negative ovulation test. It then completely changed my 6 day fertile window (to end today). But I am yet to enter a positive ovulation test result. What happened?

What date of your cycle are you on?

Hedgehog80 · 31/01/2018 18:21

I used Ovia app and a Clearblue fertility monitor when ttc baby number 5 last year.
The CBFM didn’t work and Ovia was totally accurate which surprised me as the CBFM used tests daily to measure hormone levels.
Ovia often changed my fertile window as well but it was def right!

I just don't get why inputting that I had egg white cervical fluid would change my fertile window to have just finished?

It did the same for me, I used it for a gear prior to ttc so that it knew my cycle and it was spot on so I’d just trust it
I was so surprised at the CBFM as the month I got pregnant it was saying I hadn’t ovulated

Egg white CF is the most fertile so it will change your fertile window on Ovia. It’s self adjusts with any information you give it x

But I was in the middle (on day 3) of my fertile window. I put in EWCF today and it changed my fertile window to today being the last day. Why would EWCF be a sign the fertile window is finished? Odd

I don’t know tbh but it did the same thing with me today! X

I never tried using ovulation tests but I did use Ovia - once I entered all the EWCF it seems to have been accurate as I got pregnant next cycle

MonkeyToucher · 31/01/2018 20:23

Could it be because if you’ve got ewcm but a negative opk you have probably already ovulated? How negative was your opk (if that makes sense)? On its way to positive, or totally negative? Have you been entering opk/cm details for the days just gone?

Rainyshowers · 31/01/2018 20:44

So I've entered EWCF for Mon, Tue and today. All negative ovulation tests since Friday (I missed Saturdays)) but yesterday was a faint line. Back to no line at all now. I was testing about 9am each day.
