I'm 12 DPO. I took a First Response '6 days Early' pregnancy test last night and got a BFP after 14 months TTC and one miscarriage last May.

Was delighted, went to bed, took the other test in the pack this morning hoping for a stronger line and there's nothing.

Was last night an evaporation line? I've had that before and it didn't look like it. Could I somehow still be pregnant? The photo on bottom is from last night, on top is this mornings- I can't see any trace of a line. I don't know what to think or do.

Ok from a certain angle I think I can see a line on this mornings test- am I imagining it? I don't know if it was visible from the start.

I can see a line on both tests. Test again this eve- perhaps second test a bit faulty. Fingers crossed OP

grobagsforever · 31/01/2018 06:44

Your test last night is a clear positive. Probably too positive to be a chemical pregnancy I'd say. So fingers crossed for a better test later.

DH thought the line last night was too faint to be a positive, and I was laughing at him for being unable to accept it after so long and hoping the one this morning would be stronger to convince him.

Are the clear blue digital as sensitive as first response? If I buy another test at lunchtime, is that too soon? I have a work event tonight so won't be home till quite late. I just keep staring at the positive test- my first though this morning was 'I'm pregnant', I feel quite foolish but I'm not ready to give up hope.

I know it’s hard but I would wait until tomorrow morning to test as hcg doubles every 48 hours. Xxxx

Cake20189 · 31/01/2018 09:10

Ps you’re not foolish that first test is a lovely positive. Perhaps you drank a lot and your urine was diluted? Xxx

mumof2sarah · 31/01/2018 09:11

Try and wait til tomorrow OP, 48hours will see a big difference. I can see a line on that second test very faintly. I'm keeping everything crossed for you xx

Cake20189 · 31/01/2018 09:11

Actually I can see a nice line on the second too x

Peanutty86 · 31/01/2018 11:30

I can see the line on both all the pictures. My lines seemed to be stronger later in the day than with FMU for some reason.

Feb2018mumma · 31/01/2018 11:37

Everyone says that tests are more accurate in morning but I was the same as your tests, night before had a visible line, wanted to double check the next morning and a really faint line, I don't know what the reason is but i would say take another test later and will be a darker line again? Think after my faint line test I ended up taking one at 3am or something I just couldn't wait til morning! Fingers crossed for you xx

mamamalt · 31/01/2018 13:31

Oh that’s frustrating. But I can see a line on both as others have said too. I’m not sure what to suggest but to keep testing and just take one day at a time. BrewCake
