Hey how long did it take you lovely ladies to have a period after stopping the pill or were some of you lucky enough to catch straight away? 😁

Let me know! 💙💗

28 days after stopping last time, then pregnant next month.

This time I've been off it 3 days and after started

Mine was 1 month had been in the pill 10 years now period is regular 😀 have you come off the pill?

hollowtree · 30/01/2018 23:24

Had my mirena coil taken out on Dec 8th, found out after that Christmas I was pregnant! But with no period to backdated to it was hard to date the pregnancy. After several scans to check all was well (diagnosed endo and PCOS) DD was dated 8th September!! Must have got pregnant that same day!

Endo was really very bad, had extensive surgery to separate my ovaries from my pelvis... still had a happy healthy baby Sept of last year so lots of good news for others' TTC! Good luck OP 😊 xx

Hi Unicorn I was on cerazette for ten years and didn’t have a period in that whole time - which I loved at the time - but then worried when I came off that it might take ages to get back to normal. It took 3 months for one to arrive then 35 days then 26 days so I’m quite surprised they seem to be getting reasonably regular quite quickly. Which pill were you on?

hungryradish · 31/01/2018 07:36

Aside from the withdrawal bleed, my first cycle post pill was 43 days which I was quite happy about. Unfortunately I'm now on cd83 of the next cycle with no sign of af. So my cycles are looking to take a long time to settle :( Fx for you that yours don't! Good luck.

Merrz · 31/01/2018 08:25

Normal withdrawl bleed then 1st cycle was 38 days, then 37, 33, and then settled at 30 days. Was on the pill for 13 years

Unicorn234 · 31/01/2018 08:28

I was on the maexeni pill for about 5/6 years. It's funny how people's cycles take a while to come back and then I've known people to actually get pregnant on the pill lol

There’s a thread called something like 78 days of women who have just come off the pill. Some are up to 80 days. I took 50.

Taking magnesium will help balance it out faster

JJPP123 · 31/01/2018 08:35

1 month, 14 months and 1 month

rainbowcakes · 31/01/2018 08:39

I stopped taking the pill at the beginning of December...got my first period last week, so it was 51 days. Interested to see how long I will have to wait for the next one to arrive!

gossipgirl28 · 31/01/2018 09:23

Hi!

Got my first AF last week after being off cerelle mini pill for 6 weeks/43 days!

Xoxo

Miserablemouse · 31/01/2018 10:09

10 years on the pill, 6/7 of them on Yasmin.
Withdrawal bleed straight away then 56 days for first proper period. Cycles mostly around 40 days or, randomly, 16 days now.

Fingers crossed yours come back more sensibly than mine!

Oysterbabe · 31/01/2018 10:37

It took 39 days then I got pregnant the next month.

SunshineAndRainbows6 · 31/01/2018 11:02

Hey,

Came off (CERELLE) Dec 16th... had a withdrawal bleed 28th & 29th Dec then nothing until today.... so it took 35 days! Fingers crossed yours come back smoothly or you have a BFP 😊🤞🏻

We are going to start trying after a couple of cycles 👏🏻
