Scared to test, hand hold needed

Been TTC for approaching 2 years. Finished cycle 6 on clomid in Dec and have appointment back at the fertility clinic end of Feb for probable IVF referral.

I’m 11dpo with AF due either Fri or Sat and this is the first month I have actually thought I might be pregnant. I haven’t had any brown spotting as yet which I usually do in the week leading up to AF just some very lightly pink tinged CM. I have a faint feeling of nausea and getting odd twinges. Boobs also seriously heavy and sensitive.

I need to to a test in the coming days but I darent get my hopes up. So used to BFNs now it’s hard to imagine ever getting that BFP. Would appreciate a hand hold.

Hand holding OP. Try to remind yourself that testing doesn't change the answer (like not weighing myself doesn't mean I haven't gained weight!) But I have been where you are and hope is a fucker.

Was in the exact same moment a few days ago myself - agree with pp’s, it’s always the hope that’s the worst bit for me too ..

Thanks all, definitely agree about the hope thing,it’s a bitch. I’m gonna try and hold off until Thurs i think as I’m not 100% sure when I ovulated so I want to make sure I don’t test too early.
