CD54 FAINT BFP??

ReeRee6108 · 29/01/2018 21:57

So I am currently on what I thought was CD11 follow a few days of bleeding/spotting which I thought was normal AF. I took 2 clearblue easy tests on 19th Jan (CD42) v.faint positive. Went to my dr the same day who told me "is this what you thought was positive, throw them away they are negative". Left there feeling pretty stupid. On CD43 AF started (possibly implantation), if it was implantation I would now be on CD54 since last AF. I have yesterday and today taken 2 first response tests and again got faint positives. My dr refused to do a blood test. I'm ordering more tests to see if the line becomes darker. What do you guys think? Me and my partner have been trying for over 7 years. We have no children. I have only been pregnant once this ended in miscarriage at 7weeks4days. This was 4 years ago. This is possible second pregnancy. Needing some support and to know if you also see the lines. I took apart the tests if your wondering why they are like that. I can see the line, but you aren't supposed to take the test apart as I think that invalidates any result. Can you take another and get a pic at the 3 minute mark? I would push for a blood test with another doc if you can't get a clear positive test. Sounds very stressful for you but I really hope it works out!

Desmondo2016 · 29/01/2018 21:59

I'm so sorry they look to me like evap or indent lines. Plus I think you've taken the strip out the packet which will invalidate any result. I can't see any colour to the lines at all.

MynameisJune · 29/01/2018 22:01

They look like evap lines to me sorry. Taking apart the tests invalidates them as once the air gets to the strip it can cause evap lines. To be definite you need to test and leave the tests as they are.

ReeRee6108 · 29/01/2018 22:18

I understand about it invalidating it but it was simply easier to get on camera outside of the casing as the flash was reflecting off it and making it difficult to see. The lines are pink in person looking at them I've had Evaps before, they have never been pink. I've never ever had false positives. I'm just super confused thank you for the feedback. I will go to the Drs tomorrow and demand blood work.

Thank you for your responses xx

ReeRee6108 · 29/01/2018 22:25

I'd book a appointment with dr again, is there a locus or another dr you could see that wouldn't be as quick to dismiss being pregnant? Good luck! Xxx

Woodchuck9 · 30/01/2018 00:32

I see lines but hard to say as taken out of case, but don't give up, these were my tests 7 days ago you literally couldn't see my lines so I got a digital that got straight to the point :) got my BFP, don't give up

I'm pretty sure I see something on that FRER. I'd definitely make an appointment with a different doctor. I'm sorry the first one was so dismissive. How cruel Sad
Best of luck!

Myddognearlyatethedeliveryman · 30/01/2018 15:21

Yes a second line on that test!!

Merrz · 30/01/2018 15:50

I see a 2nd line on your today's result ReeRee sorry you're having such a shit time, i would be asking to see another doctor!
Woodchuck9 that's interesting you had a clearer line on clearblue than FRER, what dpo were you on the 1st tests?

ReeRee6108 · 30/01/2018 18:25

Mine looked like this at 10/11dpo. I'm 18 weeks now. Do another FRER tomorrow or even better in a couple of days. It should be more visible. Tentative congratulations!

ReeRee6108 · 30/01/2018 21:18

@Peanutty86 thank you fingers crossed and congratulations wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy xxx

@ReeRee6108 have you managed to speak to your dr?

Woodchuck9 · 31/01/2018 00:07

@Merrz I was 6 days late on my period, I was shocked took 4 first response and they all looked like that and took a clear blue and then a clear blue digital

Merrz · 31/01/2018 07:34

I think I might get a clearblue then, I'm 5 days late today, did a frer with fmu yesterday and was negative, have another one to use but was going to leave it until Friday

positiveprincess · 31/01/2018 08:04

@Merrz what cycle Day and dpo are you?

Merrz · 31/01/2018 08:16

No idea what's going on with me!! CD 36 today (been regular 30 day cycles since July) didn't use opks this cycle so not 100% sure but i usually ov around cd 19 so 17dpo.

positiveprincess · 31/01/2018 08:38

@Merrz I'm cycle Day 41... I'm always 30 days and have been for as long as I can remember, going to the drs today to plead for a blood test as I'm getting BNF and almost FRER squinters

Merrz · 31/01/2018 08:40

That's weird, good luck at the Dr, let me know how you get on. I have another frer so going to hold off until Friday then make an appointment with dr
