Hi everyone, I apologise in advance that this is long, I'm new here and need some advice from others.

I was on the implant and then the depo injection which I last had in June 2017 and didn't go back in Sept 2017 for the next one. I have read online that fertility doesn't come back straight away. Also because of them types of contraception I didn't have periods so it's hard for me to track when I'm most fertile etc or to test if I miss a period as I haven't had one! Ughhhh! Anyway, for the past few weeks I have had the metal taste in my mouth, sore back, tiredness, mood swings etc and on the 15th of Jan I had spotting, I thought brilliant! Finally a period however it wasn't a "normal" period to what I used to have it was brown and only when I wiped, nothing major or loads. This only lasted a few days at the most then nothing till yesterday (Sunday) and stopped today and again was the same. I read online that it could be implantation bleeding but I don't want to get my hopes up in case it is just my body getting ready to have a big period.

If anyone has had this or has any advice on what you think could you let me know please?

Thanks in advance. Xx

Really, it's impossible to say as bodies can do all sorts of weird things and it can be different for every person. If I were you, I'd do a pregnancy test. If you've had symptoms for a few weeks, it would definitely show on a test. If negative, I'd wait a week or so and try again.
