Hi everyone, just wanted to know people's experiences. Have just had my 3rd miscarriage, second missed miscarriage at my 12 week scan and just had another surgical managment which is rubbish.
I have spoken to the gp this morning and they are now going to refer me for tests. Just wondered what these might be and how long everyone waited for their referral as we've been told to wait to ttc for after the appointment. The waiting just feels like forever. Thanks.

Hi Skittlelover

So sorry to hear you have had another loss

I have had 2 missed miscarriages and it seems the baby always dies at the same point, I get to 6 weeks, have a heartbeat and then at around 9/10 weeks I begin to spot and cramp and find out the baby died in the 6th week, just after I've seen the heartbeat.

I didn't want to have to risk going through another miscarriage for the NHS to start testing so I decided to spend some savings on a fertility specialist. They found out through a simple blood test that my immune system is raised so they believe my body attacks the baby which ends the pregnancy.

I have just started TTC again after a years break following a difficult and long miscarriage, once I get pregnant again I just have to take steroids until I am at 12 weeks and some intralipid infusions and hopefully it does the trick.

I hope you don't have to wait too long to get some answers and if there is anything causing your miscarriages that it can be dealt with easily x
