So I'm 7 days late, cycle day39 dpo23 or 25 and someone suggested taking an ovulation test to see if I'm ovulating and now I'm panicking because I don't know what the test means cos there was a queue for the toilets. I'd some impatient woman banging the door asking why I was taking so long I accidentally put the info into the side bin 😩😩😩

Does this mean I'm pregnant or ovulating or in a rocket to the moon??

No as this is a opk it doesn't mean you're ovulating hun as it's not even got a faint line. Could you be pregnant? Worth testing and fx for the positive result! Xx

physicskate · 29/01/2018 13:03

Those opks are negative. The test line needs to at least as dark as control line...

wishfulthinker81 · 29/01/2018 13:08

There's a faint line on them in reality, I can't see to get them on the photo apart from like a smudge. What do they mean though? Does that mean I'm fed not pregnant or ovulating or both? I only have one more FRER left but was going to try to wait until Thursday as then I'd be 10 days late. All previous pg tests I've taken have been bfn

You quite often have LH in your urine at any time of your cycle. That's why only very dark lines are positive. It could mean nothing or you could be pregnant, so get a proper preg test and try that!

Daisymalone · 29/01/2018 15:00

I think when people use opks as a pregnancy test and the person is pregnant, the opk test line looks as dark as it does when you are ovulating, so from those pics I think you are not ovulating or pregnant? Fingers crossed for you I am wrong though x

PrimeraVez · 29/01/2018 15:08

You’re not about to ovulate because although there is a second line, it’s nowhere near dark enough (it needs to be as dark as the control line, if not darker)

Normally when people use OPKs as pregnancy tests, the second line is as dark as the control line so I would say it’s very unlikely that you are pregnant, although the only way to know for sure is to do a proper pregnancy test.

Poptart4 · 29/01/2018 15:30

You are not ovulating judging by those tests.

Ovulation tests are not pregnancy tests!!

If you want to know if your pregnant then take a pregnancy test. You can get some cheap pregnancy tests from the pound shop if money is tight.

Cakelaur · 29/01/2018 15:32

I would suggest you’re sadly not pregnant or ovulating. Im waiting for my body to recover from a miscarriage at the mo and my preg tests are coming up very faint but ov test are blazing positive. Sorry op. Take a preg test to be sure though. It will ease your mind either way. X
