Cramping...

Hey all,

So I'm about 8dpo now and have now had 2 days of weird cramping on my left side. It comes and goes in waves, with some cramps being quite painful. I've also felt quite light-headed and nearly fainted/passed out a few times. BP is normal (tested Tuesday at Drs), so not low BP making me light headed... it's really bizarre! Has anyone else ever had anything like this?

I haven't been light headed but have had af type cramping and pain in my right side on/off since about 11dpo. I kept thinking af was on her way but nothing yet so I'm interested to hear any other stories too

MJHowe17 · 28/01/2018 19:28

That's exactly what mine feels like! I keep thinking that AF has just turned up early, but nothing as of yet... hopefully other people may be able to shed some light on this!

I was pregnant in May last year and this was my one and only symptom. My cramps started a little earlier than yours and would come and go as you described. They went 2 days before my BFP.....fingers cross for you!

I was so hoping someone was going to say that Hope thank you! Af was due on Friday but I haven't had the courage to test yet.

Hopehope20 · 28/01/2018 21:25

Omg you strong woman!!! I am not due until the 1st and I have already started testing like a crazy woman! Keep us posted! Good luck!

MJHowe17 · 28/01/2018 21:38

@Merrz I would not be able to stop myself testing!! I'm already considering buying some tomorrow!!

I don't know how I've managed to hold off actually. I just really don't want to see a bfn, 15 dpo tomorrow so at least whatever result should be pretty accurate!

Hopehope20 · 28/01/2018 21:53

Sending you positive thoughts. Got a good feeling about this! How long have you been trying if you don't mind me asking?

MJHowe17 · 28/01/2018 21:53

Fx for you! You'll have to let us know!

MJHowe....when is your AF due?

MJHowe17 · 28/01/2018 22:13

AF is due next Sunday... Gunna hold off on testing as long as possible. Been ttc for 13months now, so cant face the disappointment too well anymore!

Well fingers crossed the cramps are a good sign for you too. Baby dust xxx

RyvitaBrevis · 28/01/2018 22:43

Fingers crossed for you. But yes, I've had that same experience with ovarian cysts of various kinds (which are usually not a big deal, absolutely nothing to worry about, and resolve themselves from cycle to cycle).

Only mentioning it because if it keeps happening you might want to mention it to your GP.

Merrz · 29/01/2018 08:20

BFN on ic this morning, still no af though??? Think i'll buy a FRER today and test again tomorrow. I just wish af would hurry up and come if i'm not pregnant, so annoying when i thought my cycles were settled now.
At the beginning of March it will be a year since i came off the pill so starting to get a bit down about it all, feels like it's never going to happen.

MJHowe17 · 29/01/2018 18:04

Buying a frer for tomorrow sounds like a good plan @Merrz I can sympathise with th frustration, it's so hard when you've been ttc for so long. Fx that the frer is a bop! Have you been to the gp yet? May be worth starting off now, that way you can find out one way or the other. My DH have been undergoing tests, just waiting for results to find out if there is a reason why we've not gotten pregnant yet

No haven't been to see GP yet, was putting off until the year mark but this is the 1st time I've had a strange cycle like this so if no bfp in the next few days think I'll call and make an appointment.
Fx with your DH tests, have you had investigations already?

MJHowe17 · 29/01/2018 19:03

It's worth it, even if they find nothing, at least you know there's no problem. So it's just a case of time.
I've had blood tests and went for a scan on Friday. Bloods came back clear but got a week for the scan results... not sure when DH's tests will be back. Fx it's nothing, so we can just keep trying and see what happens in the future. I'm sure there's nothing wrong, I just worry too easily...

I hope the results are all good for you, yes I can imagine would put you're mind at rest. Either way, if you know there's nothing wrong you can carry on trying and if they find something then at least you know there's a reason and they can do something about it. Thanks
