Hi,
I am 33 and my husband and I are trying to conceive since November for the first time. This month I had extreme nausea around my ovulation time (ovulated on cycle day 17). Around cycle day 23 (two days earlier than my period due date), I got a lighter version of my period. Bad cramping first day (not severe though - was largely on and off - felt more like something is banging in my tummy) and bleeding (not heavy) and then ZERO cramping and spotting from middle of day 2 until day 5 (yesterday). The blood was between bright and light red (sometimes this, sometimes that), with very tiny clots and on day 4 I had a very bad headache, was feeling extreme nausea all day and almost fainted and had a larger clot coming out on day 4. If this was my period, I am a bit concerned about why I had a lighter period, ovulated so late and got the period earlier and why I had no cramping from day 2. I usually have severe cramping and VERY heavy bleeding.
I did a home pregnancy test this morning and it was negative, but the spotting also only stopped yesterday evening. I read online that implantation bleeding cannot have clots (but I had one large clot), however, this is the strangest and lightest period I have ever had. The only other different thing I did this month was to take Pregnacare for Conception, but don't know if it can make such a difference to my period. Please share your thoughts.
