Ovulation question

I'm really confused regarding ovulation and mucus and lh surges etc! To clarify.. if a woman had a typical 28 day cycle and ovulated on day 14 would that mean days 10-13 would be the most fertile and not day 14 itself?

Sperm can live up to 5 days and the egg for around 12-24 hours. So your fertile during the days before you ovulate as the sperm will hang around waiting and for the 12-24 hours after you ovulate.

So even if you don't hit the two most high fertile days with the ovulation sticks you could still be lucky??

Yes, how long the sperm and egg last is dependent on various factors but it can be more than those couple of days.
