Low response to ivf drugs help

Hi I'm 36, ttc 1st child, I have low amh 4.8 no other issues, hubby sperm is high quality. Ive had 3 failed non medicated iui, and have just started my 1st ivf cycle short protocol, I've been taking bemfola 300 and cetrotide 25 for 7 days and just had my first scan today and I have only 1 follicle developing and so clinic may abandon the cycle which has left on floods of tears. As I am a poor responder to ivf drugs does anyone have any advice/experience of this and had a bfp?

For the 4th round I only had one follicle and they cancelled pick up - I was heartbroken & thought that was it. We then changed clinics, where they gave me different drugs - short protocol with 3 days of a medication that prevented ovulation, followed immediately by a high dose of menopur. They got 7 or 8 follicles if I remember correctly (dd is just 4 now), but only 3 fertilised. Dd was a frozen embryo, after the fresh double transfer failed.
Please don’t give up hope yet. Are you doing everything you can to help your eggs? I know it’s debatable as to whether we can improve egg quality, but I tried anyway. I drank loads of water, took fresh Royal Jelly (capsules), tried DHEA, took spirulina & other superfood powders. Not sure what made the difference, but I think it’s worth knowing that AMH levels can be proved wrong! I would have loved to have had your AMH level back then - I think it gives you lots of room for hope.

Sorry I know this is an old thread, but I have the same problem with similar amh levels. Just wondering if you ever managed to get to egg retrieval and if so, how you got there? Thank you
