No. Even a faint line is a negative. It has to be as strong as the test line

@eight no it doesn't. A faint line definitley means a positive. It says on the back of the packet that if the test line isn't as dark as the control line, it's still positive. Just means you're earlier if it's fainter.

I can see something on the one from today (colour). But that’s with me zooming in and it looks more grey- did it appear right away ?

EightdaysaweekIloveu: I think you are getting confused with ovulation tests. Any line on a pregnancy test which arrives within the test timeframe is classed as a positive test.

After five days of testing, I would expect it to be clearly visible, not so faint it doesn't show on photos. Get a First Response, and you'll have your answer.

OP I'm not seeing a line on your zoomed in picture, and I'm pretty good at spotting faint lines, so I'm saying negative.

Those cheap internet tests are notorious for fake lines. Used to get them all the time.

Sorry I thought it was an OPK test. I'm reading too many threads in conception at the moment.

Thank you for everyone that's commented. I will test again in about 4 days. The problem is with me EBF I haven't a clue about my cycle now. My periods are everywhere so I don't know how many DPO I am. For all I know I could be 6dpo today or 11dpo 🤣 hubby swears blind he sees an extremely faint line on the zoomed in one. So will test again in a few days and update everyone.

Mine were all barely visable for 3 days but then I got a boots test and it was a bit clearer. Sorry to ramble but don’t get a clear blue digital just yet it will be a waste of money as they need much more of the hormone to give you a positive result. Also the clear blue normal tests (and other blue dyes) gave me fake lines previously. Get a FRER or boots pink dye x good luck !!

Definitely get a frer. If the line is that faint a digital is likely not to show up yet even if you are pregnant. Hope you get the result you want!

Yep. I can see It! Very very faint but there nonetheless.

Hey can I advice you to buy a different test. I have been using the same ones and the lines are so so faint! I have had very very faint lines for three days so did a clear blue instead!

Were your lines as faint as OPs (barely visable)? I think you should wait a few more days before spending money and possibly getting the wrong result on a digital.

Should also add congratulations because I can see the line and that would mean it is positive! I meant would recommend doing a digital test for peace of mind :)

And yes my lines were as faint the first one I couldn't even tell if it was just a shadow :)

I think I see a really faint line on the teardrop one but nothing on the others. Are you hoping its negative OP?

I wouldn't advise buying a digi just yet but try a frer
