FRER Evap line?

Has anyone come across a FRER evaporation line on their tests, is it common?

Not common in my experience, though I did have one evap that was an off centre pink/orange line that only showed when the test was dry. Other than that they have been reliably (and disappointingly) blank this time round but picked up hcg at day 9dpo with my DD.

😩🙈 I'm so confused! I'm trying not to get excited! I just want to know 😑 going to struggle to wait til Saturday to test again... I've only got two left and two boots early ones...

I thought I could see an evap on the Saturday and on Wednesday I tested again and it wasn't even a faint line it no squinting required so Im not sure if it was an evap the first time. As pp said every other time when it has been negative it has been super blank no hint of anything

I think they are positive but it's probably still quite early days with them being faint lines. What dpo are you?

Afreshcuppateaplease · 25/01/2018 19:51

Look positive to me op! Can see something on all 3

wishfulthinker81 · 25/01/2018 19:53

These are estimates...
Ovulation on 4th Jan
Sex on 4th Jan

Then weird heavy spotting from 11th-15th Jan

Af due 22nd but so far no sign so if I ovulated on 4th then I'm 21dpo... I think?

Good luck! Did you take them out of the plastic? The only thing I’d say is, every time I’ve done that I’ve had the same line appear - is something to do with a reaction to the air or something. I could be wrong (and I hope I am!) but is just something to bear in mind.

wishfulthinker81 · 25/01/2018 19:57

Yeah I did because I was convinced I'd seen a line but couldn't get close enough to it...if that makes sense? I'll keep them in the plastic next time just to be safe!

OP posts:
BergamotMouse · 25/01/2018 20:23

Difficult to say. I'd say that if you're 21dpo I'd expect a more noticeable line. But then you do hear of people that don't get a positive until AF is a week late. Hope it all work out for you.

wishfulthinker81 · 25/01/2018 20:32

@Millypad did you end up pregnant when you had taken the strips out of the test?

Yeah that's why I'm skeptical @BergamotMouse as I would've thought I'd have a stronger result if it was positive... unless I've miscalculated the ovulation and then implanted later?

I've taken those tests before and found a evap line when the air gets to them, it was sort of grey though not pink. Does it look pink in real life!

wishfulthinker81 · 25/01/2018 21:24

@unicorncow yeah they're more pink/dark reddish brown than grey

unicorncow · 25/01/2018 21:32

I've just looked at them again and I'd say the bottom 2 do look like proper positives
