Dh doesn’t often ejaculate so using syringe method - any advice?

My dh is on medication which means he doesn’t easily ejaculate during sex. The pressure of ttc doesn’t help so we’re trying the use of a jar and 5mml syringe instead...

Logistically it’s working fine but no luck so far, wondering if anyone has any experience of similar or advice?

Hi
Not a huge amount of advice but we use the same method. I had heard you need to make sure the syringes have a black stopper (bd plastipak is the make I think) as I think something in the clear stopper can be harmful to sperm. We also use conceive plus, insert whilst feet up wall and bum raised on pillow. Hang out like that for as long as you can, then I use an instead cup to help make sure everything stays in as long as it needs to. Though instead cups have now gone out of production and are nearly impossible to get hold of (if you find any let me know!!). Best of luck. We have conceived twice like this. We have fertility issues linked to my OHs sperm count etc but have conceived after around 7 months each time. Currently TTC again...5 months and counting. Xx

I think instead cups are now back on the market (in the us) as Flex cups.
