Body doing weird things after MC?

Hey ladies,

So the title is pretty self explanatory...

I had a MC just under 3 weeks ago. Bleeding stopped 10 days ago. Today I’ve been feeling so achey in my back and heavy down below. Had some light brown discharge, im getting the odd twinge.

Basically I’m looking for non- Google scary advice ha ha. I know the body takes a while to recoup and normally a twinge or brown discharge would not even phase me. But since my MC every little ache, pain scares the life out of me!

Help xx

Sorry for your loss.
When I had one I bled on and off for about a month and would get random cramps at odd times

Sorry for your loss.

My two cycles since my mc have been 36 days rather than 29. My boobs have remained in their pregnancy state (veiny, bigger) and I have noticed far more twinges and sharp pains in my lower abdomen than I used to get (been ttc a while so fully used to tracking everything). I also spotted 5-6 days before ov which I've not done before.

If the pain or bleeding gets very severe then please call 111 or visit your GP. Otherwise, I think it's unfortunately something that happens to some people after a mc.

Thanks ladies for getting back to me,
I am sorry for your losses.

It’s an horrific ordeal for anyone to go through.

I think I’m so DESPERATE to put all this behind me, I get angry at my body for not doing what I want it to do. I suffer from IBS and I think that’s flared up considerably since this happened as I have been a nervous wreck to be honest.

I hate how obsessed with myself I have become, every twinge, ache is like the worlds going to end! Xx

Hi Kate- is your hcg now back to 0 (ie hpt is negative?)

Kate8989 · 25/01/2018 16:12

Yes, I did a pregnancy test this afternoon and very much negative!

I don’t know why i was surprised or upset seeing it but it really hit me. As the last time I did one, the test line was so strong!

The discharge has stopped now, still getting the odd twinge what feels like in my uterus. I’ve gone against my own advice and googled it, so I’m now convinced I have fibroids, endo and PID! Oh I love myself right now! Xx
