Been getting some great advice after recently finding these forums!

I'm currently 32 and TTC #1. Came off the pill last July but only started actively trying after Christmas. Currently 9DPO and I am OBSESSED. I literally don't know what's come over me

You too my love. You've definitely come to the right (if sometimes crazy!) Place. 9dpo is the worst day for symptom as going into the second of the tww and playing the longest waiting game ever!! Fx and good luck for your journey xx

Hi @GreenGooner I agree with @Owlpatrol, I'm currently at 9dpo too and it feels like this tww has been going on forever! I'm was ok up until ovulation but since then it's been consuming a lot of my head and I'm literally getting exhausted now lol. Might just be pmt though haha. Good luck on your ttc journey x

I’m also TTC #1 and just started trying properly last month. I’m completely obsessed as well, trying not to let it take over my life, can’t believe how disappointed I was when af appeared last week!
Feel a bit too scared to write in some of the bigger groups at the moment as I don’t know all the acronyms and everyone seems to know each other!

Oh I'm the same, still trying to work it all out. I'm imagining all sorts, for example I've sworn today I'm experiencing implantation cramps. I doubt it very much but it's driving me crazy

I'm losing the plot. God knows what I'll be like in a few months. Glad to hear I'm not alone though haha x

I’m in exactly the same boat; just started TTC #1 after waiting six months due to potential ZIKA risks after our honeymoon.

Have been reading posts on here for a few weeks and have learnt so much, as well as secretly celebrated peoples’ successes & felt sorrow at their losses. Still getting my head around the lingo, and already worried about how much of my mind it’s taking up!

Is great to know I’m not alone though! Fingers crossed this is a lucky thread 🤞🏻 xx

It's so consuming isn't it. This is such a good forum, I've learnt so much already, I've started taking folic acid (albeit today). I've also started testing (stupidly). AF due next Monday so not my finest move but I couldn't help it.

Yeah, it’s amazing how much I didn’t know about pregnancy & my own cycle 🙈 feeling much more clued up now though!

At least you’ve started taking it now though, which is good; I started taking it a few months back when I first got excited about TTC.

Don’t be too hard on yourself about testing. You made it to 9DPO, which is an achievement in itself & a FRER might pick something up with 6 days to go, although if it doesn’t that doesn’t mean necessarily mean anything. One thing I’ve definitely learnt on here is that you’re not out until AF shows! Positive thinking for us all x

I’m the same re: pregnancy and cycle - it’s worrying how clueless I was as I’ve had a Mirena so haven’t had af for 5 years! I got the Ovia app the other day so hopefully that will help me out 😆
