Painful ovulation after laparoscopy

I had my lap and ovarian drilling 12 days ago and yesterday I got a solid smiley. We’d been told to wait 2 weeks before dtd but I didn’t want to miss this chance. Have woken up this morning with crampy pains on one side (and it really hurts!) could I have done some damage or is this perhaps painful ovulation for the first time?!

I had painful ovulation for 2 cycles after my laparoscopy which is very common. String cramps for a few hours but also some sharp stabbing pains too. Just take it easy.

Meant to say strong cramps (not string!!)

He he, thank you! Curious as to what string cramps could be... I appreciate it and really hope this means that ovulation is actually happening properly for the first time in goodness knows how long....

Yeah same here, I had been ttc for over 3 years when I finally had my laparoscopy to remove ovarian cysts.
I was then lucky enough to get pregnant on my second cycle after the op, which was our first month of trying. I'm now 28 weeks. Wishing you the very best of luck x
