Hi girls

Thought it might be useful to start a thread to get all those of us who are down to our last week of the tww together and who are going to start testing soon!

Let the symptom sharing etc begin and let's pour all our best wishes in for plenty of bfps this coming week!

Who's with me?

Congratulations @JLamb89! Definite line!! Looks similar to mine so we must be about the same days po.
Sorry you didn't get your BFP this morning @SparkLee is still early days though 🤞 for you!

Celebelly · 23/01/2018 14:19

Congrats @JLamb89!

Sorry for neg @SparkLee but defo early days so try not worry.

Another faint line this morning for me but I'm driving myself mad with it so not going to test again for a day or two. It's costing a bloody fortune too Blush

mamabear05 · 23/01/2018 18:41

Hi girls, how we all getting on today? I'm unbelievably emotional this evening so still sure AF must be on her way with PMT this bad. 9dpo. BFN on frer and ic today. Still early I know so trying my hardest to keep positive but I really don't think it's going to be my month this month :(

OP posts:
Owlpatrol · 23/01/2018 18:44

I know chick @mamabear05 same as you but sore boobs and worried my cramps are getting worse. Trying to stay positive. If I've no spotting by Friday I'll test again Friday morning I think xx

Owlpatrol · 23/01/2018 18:45

Sending bug hugs Flowers

Celebelly · 23/01/2018 18:49

Stay positive, mama! It's still super super early to test. I know it's hard, though x

JLamb89 · 23/01/2018 18:54

Congratulations on all the BFP ladies !
For those yet to have their BFP stay positive ! Your not out til AF reared her ugly head ! Implantation is normal up to 12 days so keep everything crossed !! 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I have super cramps today so worried this little bean won’t stick but keeping everything crossed here too !

HellaBella0 · 23/01/2018 19:06

Ah @mamabear05 snap!! 9dpo and just got in from work and did a ic at 6.30pm...doh!!. BFN of course!! Not sure what I was expecting, think I need a virtual slap in the face!

mamabear05 · 23/01/2018 19:38

Thanks all I appreciate your kind words. Fingers crossed for us all eh! Very happy for you @JLamb89 though, try not to worry about the cramps they're normal in early pregnancy x

Congratulations to those with bfps!!
I am 10dpo and tested on an asda test this morning and got a bfn... hoping we are still in with a chance this month, but not feeling very confident. Dp has suggested dtd every other day next cycle so we will try that if af arrives.

surreygirl1987 · 23/01/2018 19:49

Yay congrats to the bfps!!

@mamabear and others.... yup I hear you! Was gutted with my bfn yesterday and admit I had a little cry... coping better today though. Ffs I'm 10dpo at best (possibly 8-10dpo) so I don't know why I already think I'm out! The only thing keeping me going is that I have epic amounts of cervical mucus which I don't remember from previous months so... clutching I know!

Also anyone feeling like this is actual torture?? I don't think I'll test early again... or at least not this early... it causes too much heartache :(

mamabear05 · 23/01/2018 19:55

Yep @surreygirl1987 . It doesn't make it any easier that I got a positive at 10dpo last pregnancy (miscarriage at 6 weeks) that I'm sure would have shown up at 9dpo. Keep reading forum posts that say they had a bfn at 9dpo but then a positive a few days later. I can't help myself from wondering if they actually really truly knew their correct dpo though and whether they had tested early with a first response early result rather than the 45 second one. I've even started to panic that I didn't really ovulate...I was doing opks as following the miscarriage I wasn't sure exactly where my cycle was at and I did have 2 days where the lines looked the same darkness but the test line never got darker than the control as it had previously and I was testing 2/3 times a day. Goodness, my mind is running in complete overdrive despite me doing my best to rationalise with the little devil enjoying herself up in my brain!!!

OP posts:
Celebelly · 23/01/2018 19:56

I really regret testing so early. Although I got a faint positive, it's not obvious enough to make me comfortable and it wasn't any darker this morning. I've now run out of tests and trying to not jump in my car and drive all over the neighbourhood to buy more! BlushI feel like a crazy person and like I'm in limbo. Next cycle, if this turns out not to be the one, I am really going to try and not freak out like I am now. It's exhausting.

mamabear05 · 23/01/2018 19:57

@Celebelly try not to worry. A line is a line and it may not get darker for 2-3 days as the hcg doubles. Did you use a first response early result? X

OP posts:
Celebelly · 23/01/2018 20:02

I did. I got faint positive last night and then the same 'darkness' with FMU. It doesn't help that OH won't even really look at the test to confirm or back me up or indulge my flapping. He's ultra pragmatic so just thinks we will find out at some point and there's no point in worrying now. He's right, of course, but I don't think he understands the emotions at play at all Sad I have some FRERs arriving from Amazon tomorrow so hopefully I'll be in a better position then to know for sure what's going on.

mamabear05 · 23/01/2018 20:07

@Celebelly I really don't think men get it like we do. It doesn't help that we have to go through this at a point right before AF when our hormones are all over the show anyway! I need chocolate, my duvet and 💤. Sent DH to the pub just to get him out of the way so I can wallow in self-pity in peace hahaha 😂

OP posts:
Jessabean · 23/01/2018 20:23

@Celebelly I literally have more FRERs arriving from amazon tomorrow also! 🙈 going to try and not pee on anything till Thurs morning now though if I can.
Feel for you @mamabear05 I'm not really sure what's going on with my cycle exactly since miscarriage (was 8 weeks but things stopped at 6 weeks). Remember reading that BBT and OPK readings can all be a bit all over the place even if you're ovulating normally for couple of cycles post mc. So I wouldn't rely on them too much especially if they're not seeming quite right although obviously that makes trying to figure out where you are with things in cycle for testing even more stressful! Is early days and there's still plenty of hope especially if ovulation day could be a bit variable! 🤞

KitKat3092 · 23/01/2018 20:36

I'm 8dpo. TTC no.1. Cycle 21. Is it okay to join? I am driving myself mad with symptom spotting, had dull aches and low back aches on and off since ovulation. I caved and tested tonight BFN, this month feels different so FX!

Good luck to everyone! !!

mamabear05 · 23/01/2018 20:42

Hi @KitKat3092 of course, the more the merrier

OP posts:
mamabear05 · 23/01/2018 20:42

Thanks @Jessabean. I know you've probably mentioned before but how many dpo were you when you got your bfp and did you use a frer and get a bfn previously by any chance? X

OP posts:
Celebelly · 23/01/2018 20:46

I won't be able to afford a baby after spending our entire savings on all these FRERs BlushBlushConfused I should take out shares in the company.

mamabear05 · 23/01/2018 20:50

@Celebelly I'm decided to set a limit of £20 a month. I don't drink so that's less than my DH spends in wine therefore he can't moan. I've worked out I can get 4 frers for that to test on 9/10/11/12 dpo. After that I'm figuring ic's would show within a few days but would probably have already resigned myself to being out by that point anyway so wouldn't have as much of an urge to poas lol. Haha look at me having a strategy...shows what an obsessive crazy lady I've become!!!

Loving how supportive this thread is. We're here for each other until Af shows or doesn't show this month. Honestly I've really needed you girls this week thanks so much! Cramps have eased slightly but still there. Really really hoping it's our month xx
