Feeling like I need to do something positive in this 2WW

I have just spent an hour listening to a podcast about improving fertility naturally while it wasn’t a complete waste of time there wasn’t any useful tips ( I suppose what works for one person doesn’t work for the next and the person has a business to run so why would she give this info out for free) but now on cycle 7 I am feeling the need to explore this further. But only what’s supported by science I wouldn’t try any funny herbal remedies. I’ve already read “the impatient woman’s guide to getting pregnant” and thinking of buying “taking charge of your fertility”. Has anyone read this book and would recommend it? Any other good books/websites? Thank you

Taking Charge of your Fertility is fantastic. I've learned so much about my body and cycle from reading it

Yes I've read that book and it is brilliant

Thanks both. I’ve ordered it. Hopefully arrive tomorrow.
I know my heart is hoping that spending the money on this, the universe will in 12days create a BFP for me, and thus it will then be wasted money. My head is telling me not to be so silly.

Have you ordered or got a thermometer for BBT at the ready? The book relies on that as a method of tracking your cycles and that will help you track your temps over your 2ww - apparently if you have 18 days of high you can have more certainty of your BFP (as well as AF not turning up of course).
I read it at the end of cycle 2, both BFN, and have been using it in cycle 3 to assist with tracking ovulation and have really found it fascinating to discover so much about my body that I was completely unaware of! Based on all signs from the book, a dip of temp this morning and a positive OPK yesterday and today I'm ovulating imminently. Now waiting to see if my temps rise and then the wonderful 2wwwait begins....
Enjoy the book when it arrives, it will certainly distract you/give you lots of info but fx you will get your BFP this cycle anyway so won't need to put it into practise!

@running365 Thank you for the info. It arrived today along with the thermometer I ordered. It’s quite a text book. Better get reading. 😊 Fx this is your month.

It Starts With The Egg is interesting if you haven’t come across it already.

Expecting Better is mainly pregnancy related but I found the first couple of chapters on conception useful and reassuring as she particularly focuses on conceiving in late 30s/early 40s.

@Darkstar4855 Thank you for the recommendations, I’ll add them to my wish list. 😊

@Darkstar4855
Just an update. Expecting better - I like you found the first couple of chapters very positive being over 35.
It starts with the egg - I've just started this book and it's given me the motivation to make some changes to my diet and look at other chemicals, as well as the supplement but I'm already taking the obvious ones. When I want to reach for a doughnut, I have more reason to say no. I don't know if it will work but it's worth a go!! Thank you.
