TWW FRER Advice

Hi All

Just looking for a bit of advice and personal experience of how early you can expect an FRER to be pretty accurate in result.

I'm in my first cycle of trying after mc end of Dec- so not really sure exactly when I ov'd. But going by my BBT on my app and the look of my thick endometrium on an Uss on Fri It was probably at my usual CD around last Fri/Sat and in which case af is due next Fri-Sat coming. Have been feeling horrific nausea for past 3 days and last night had some cramping pains. Tried to ignore & not read into it as am also on Abx for UTI (though had these ones plenty of times before & have never given me this!) but this morning caved and took an FRER which was of course BFN. Before had been using clear blue and doing a lot better at waiting till af due. Just trying to figure when to test again and wondering how early in experience people got an accurate result with FRER's?

Have friends coming up to stay end of the week & preferably want to know whether I could have a drink with them or not! 2WW is the worst!! 🙈

I had weak line 9dpo when we conceived first time round.

Peanutty86 · 21/01/2018 14:30

My first BFP was a very faint one at 10 dpo

Thank you both.
They are pretty accurate then! Still might be in with a chance at the moment though fingers crossed (think I'm about 8/9 dpo). Think I'll try and hold off as late as poss before friends arrive on Thurs if I can to be a bit more certain... is just hard with constant 🤢 as a reminder!

This is the info you want. I feel the 6 and 7 dpo can probably be discounted because of small sample size?

MrsDx · 21/01/2018 15:38

Frer gave me first positive at 8dpo

Jessabean · 21/01/2018 16:17

@physicskate that is exactly what I was after thank you!! That site is great!

Apparently the most common day for implantation is 9dpo so if you are only 8/9dpo you might not actually have implanted yet so it would not show up on any test, regardless off the sensitivity. Try again in a couple of days x

10dpo for most people will still be a barely there line on a frer. In general lots of people drink before knowing they’re pregnant

unicorncow · 21/01/2018 18:27

I had a very faint positive 4 days before my AF was due, the day before it was Defo negative

Jessabean · 21/01/2018 20:10

Thank you all that fills me with hope that it's not all over for this month yet!
