Eyes and comments please, 5 days late

Think I'm out this month this is the longest I've missed my period by, only 5 days but us felt like forever. Took test this morning with fmu and negative again 😢
Took my last test the day after AF was due.

Feels like the wait has been forever 😩

That’s def positive ! Very similar to my first test when I was 11dpo and I’m cuddling 1 week old ds3 right now x

I can see a faint line. Tests vary in sensitivity and hCG levels can be very different for different women at the same point in pregnancy so don’t give up hope yet.

I would suggest either try a first response early result or similar more sensitive test and see whether you get a line, and/or repeat with the same type of test in 48 hours and if you have a darker line then things are looking good. Good luck!

Do you know when you ovulated? I didn't get my first positive until cd41, and I usually have short cycles. I actually ovulated around the time AF was due. I can see a faint pink line for you. Test again tomorrow, hoping it's stronger.

@Katsanddogs hey I don't know as I'm using ovulation tests but I go by the Ovia app and it stays around 1st- 5th on my normal 33 -35 day cycle

You might be like me and have a long luteal (?) phase? Or whatever it's called when ovulation is two thirds of the way through a cycle... That would explain a faint line, at poss only 2dp. I'm going to whisper a congratulations with fingers crossed.

Ovia had my ovulation dates way off from what the OPKs said they were so could well be wrong.

@DrRanjsRightEyebrow perhaps so I don't really know too much lol only sort of basic things but yeah I could be right now anything from 2 -5 days late on AF as every cycle is around 33-35 days long

Doesn't necessarily have to be strong after 5 days late... not everyone produces HCG quickly. I didn't get a FAINT line until I was over 13 days late for AF and I had a healthy happy baby boy 8 months later✌🏻
