we've decided to start trying towards the end of the year, we have a big holiday planned before then kinda a last blow out before starting a family what would people recommend, we've read loads of blogs posts but id like a variety of opinions from mums who've been there! What do you miss most about your pre child life?

Going to the bathroom by myself!!! Or going out for dinner with my DH and not having to remortgage each time lol xx

Go to the cinema as much as possible. Travel wildly, as much as you can- never the same. Enjoy every lie in you get and every long soak in a bubble bath/candle lit/stack of mags to read followed by the delight of getting into bed afterwards and just lying there, all content, reading more magazines/ a book. Enjoy every lazy/hungover day just lying feeling sorry for yourself on the sofa/bed feeling totally self indulgent- hangovers with kids are very different things....magazine reading goes out the window, as do books for the first year at least.

Ah... travel. A lot. Go for anything spontaneous. Take city breaks. Take a day off and stay in bed for the day! :) cinema. Leaving the country though... that’s a biggie. Go somewhere warm and sunny, leisurely glasses of wine, lie ins...

Drinking and eating to excess and then laying in bed all day the next day. Exactly what we’ve done today. DS (7) lazed in bed with us and now I’m scared We might have gone mad when we decided to TTC #2...
