Positive OPK 4dpo???

Ok girls just wondering if anyone else has experienced this before?

I had an early loss (6 weeks) in December. I've been tracking my ovulation using opks/cm since. Usually ovulate on cd17 however tested positive or so I though on cd 18/19 this month. Test results match well with ewcm which I had from 5 days prior and ovulation type pains a day after. Test line on opk same as but not darker than the control. Would post pic but because I'm a new user it won't let me. This description was of the first test on cd18 but the tests remained like this over the course of the 2 days and I tested 3x per day.

Anyway test line was very much faded mon evening, tues and yesterday (cd20/21/22). Test line either faint or non existent - definitely positive. I've carried on testing anyhow more out of interest than anything and (because I just want to keep a really close eye on my cycle since I don't know where I'm at really following my miscarriage) and just had another 2 tests which look like they may be heading towards a positive again... test line looks almost same colour to me but may be hairline lighter - difficult to tell.

What I'm asking basically is is a second LG surge normal (I've never really continued testing after first positive before) or is it likely I only geared up to ovulate but didn't actually pull it off over the weekend?

Secondly, I have had it where the test line is darker than the control once before. Should I be looking and waiting for this or is the one where they're the same colour enough to call positive?

As for temps I have taken these previously but I find it hard to keep track at the same time etc so haven't been doing them this month. I can't really afford digital as I'm a serial tester lol and I know I'm not pregnant yet so they aren't picking up hcg.

Oh I wish I could post pictures and get your opinion! It's debatable. The lines are either the same colour or the test line could be ever so slightly lighter, I'm struggling to decide lol. They were definitely negative for the last 3 days though after my positive surge over the weekend. Just cautious I may not have ovulated as though and might be gearing up to go again...blinking typical as DH is on a night shift tonight! Will be just out luck to miss it x

Yes we bd'd everyday over the weekend then have had two nights off plus tonight is a no go since he's working a night shift. Hoping I have already ovulated!!! Just not sure if this second surge is normal lol x

Well saw your post in other thread and so did an opk tonight as well I'm either 4 or 7dpo (didn't let the tests touch) and mind also has a line! So the plot thickens! Fx for us both eeeek. Ps I assume your not bleeding or anything? How is your cm? X

@Owlpatrol oh my goodness!!! You've had that query line on a hpt though haven't you so might be good news for you! No surprising I stopped bleeding just 5 days post miscarriage. Was only heavy for two days then spotted for 3. Had negative bloods and urine tests since then so know it was complete. As for CM sorry if tmi (you did ask lol) but I had one glob if ewcm at the beginning of last week so expected to ovulate last wed/thurs but opks still definitely negative. Next few days had clear but stretchy (seemed thinner than what I would usually consider ewcm but still fertile if that makes sense) until sat/sun when the test line became the same as but not darker than the control so I'm assuming positive.

Since the weekend I've had negative opks (hardly any second line) and what if consider infertile cm (tacky, gluey) but then tonight had that questionably positive opk again and a little lotion like cm.

Haven't a clue what's going on haha.

That is literally the same as me this month apart from the mc last month

Sorry I'm not being much help. I'd say that the positive opk last night was a small lh surge later in the cycle which can happen id say that it will die down xx

@Owlpatrol the one I did really late last night and again this morning appear more negative than positive so hoping it was just a mini surge. Being impatient I know but really want to have ovulated over the weekend so I can start testing in a few days haha...the tww is already long enough. I don't want to find I hadn't actually and am gearing up to again now instead lol xx
