Is it too early

I'm currently 7dpo and AF due on 24th, 6 days time. Would it be too early to test tmrw at 8dpo, 5 days before AF? I know I shouldn't get my hopes up but I feel different this month.

Yes, most likely too early. To save yourself disappointment I'd wait until at least the day before AF is due. I tested on the day I was due and got a negative. Waited a week before I got a strong positive!

Probably. A high proportion of people who will subsequently turn out to be positive won't get a positive at 8dpo. Why not just wait until you're due, rather than torture yourself every day for another week?

As much as I totally agree testing early is soul destroying, I literally got my bfp yesterday at 8po and with afternoon wee! It can happen it seems, but I've been told a positive that early isn't exactly common xx

I’m in exactly the same position - AF due 24th. Currently lying on the sofa with dreadful nausea which is worse when I bend over. I’m aware it could just be a bug but it’s hard not to want to test! I’m going to wait til 24th though

I'm also due AF on 24th. I've started having cramps so not sure what to think, when is everyone planning to test, any symptoms yet?

Tingly boobs and slight nausea. I have been testing since 2dpo 😂🙈

I could open a pharmacy the amount of frer's and digital's I have, I literally went through loads when I had my early miscarriage so have replenished the stock!

The symptoms I had before BFP and AF are pretty much the same so can't tell either way.

@HoneyCake86 lol snap from either 4 or 7 dpo yesterday 😂😂 after promising myself I wouldn't! Need to wait a week now. I think the early testing just helps with the tww fx for all of us! Xx

So I'm 9dpo today, temp still high but dipped slightly today. Peed constantly yesterday so much so that DH commented on it and then told me my tits were huge.
Used FRER this morning and had a BFN. Can't help think I'm out

@honeycake that cracked me up! 😂@presh I tested today at 8dpo... bfn of course but I can't stand knowing that I COULD find out I'm pg if I tested so I test every day from around now. Don't assume you're out yet as loads of women don't get bfp until AF due or after!! But I find it helps manage my expectations if I test every day from early on... x

If i run out of ics i bust out the opks 😂 even if its neg i HAVE to pee on SOMETHING to keep me sane so i can function through the 2ww 😂

I have mostly ics but i bought a ffrer offer on amazon at the beginning of my cycle- 4 frers for 15.75. Ive used one so far and im only 10dpo 🙈

Nothing beats the feeling of the moment you peel open a frer wrapper lol

So this morning, 10dpo and BBT still raised, exactly same as yesterday. Cramps though like AF is on her way, boobs still mega sore. Tired, but that's nothing new.

If it helps at all @Presh12345 I got my bfp recently and feel constantly like I'm about to come on coz of the crampy tummy x

@Presh at 9dpo I feel EXACTLY the same and bfn... :( however I feel like this every month in the run up to AF anyway so not a sign for me :(

Ffs I had to pee on something again and after yesterday, now at 10dpo, it was still negative. Think I'm going to give up hope for this month.

I know... the wait is killing me! What cycle are you on? I've been trying since we g9t married in the summer so I've been through this tww 6 times now and it is not getting any easier! Dying to see that elusive second line!! Totally feel like AF is on the way though...

In my 21st tww. Yes. It sucks. Good luck everyone. At this point I have a statistical chance of about 2% of getting pregnant this month due to diminishing rate of returns...

I didn’t get my bfp (even on frer) until 12/13 dpo. I was testing from 4dpo 🙈. I’m now lying next to my 6 month old while he’s fighting sleep 😁

Married in March and had a MMC in June at 9w4d so waited til my check up in July and have been trying since. Doing everything!!! Legs in the air, legs up the wall, pillow under bum, conceive plus, Pregnacare, BBT......will be 40 this year and starting to panic!
