OPK help please?

Evening all!

Just wondered if any one could share some opk wisdom please?

Only started properly using them last month and had a day where I had a definite positive.

This month, I got an almost-positive this morning after the line was progressively getting darker but then when I did another this eve (which is when I normally get more of a line) there was absolutely nothing! Like not even a hint of a line.

Am I being too positive by thinking I just missed the surge between this morning and this evening? Or is it possible I’m not going to ovulate?

Hi ya I had this cd10 this month and was sure I was out. What cycle day are you? If recommend keep testing as you should get a true positive ! Mine eventually came cd14 hooraaah!

I’m cd 17 now of 32 - so maybe still s couple of days left? I’ll keep going and see what happens! Thank you!

Deffo. Forgot to say you can have lh throughout the cycle and it's only positive when the line is as dark or darker than control x

I would recommend using clear blue as they measure your baseline LH levels then the increase when you have the surge. I found the flashing / solid smileys with the dual hormone monitor easier to interpret than the cheaper sticks with just the lines.

@somerandombird I’ve tried using those and never had anything on them! I don’t know if my wee’s always too diluted - I run a lot and drink litres and litres of water.

My temps jumped from 35.9 to 36.4 this morning so maybe it’s happened?!

I have question to all of you.. Im trying to pin point my lh surge so since cd7 im using the cheap internet strips along with the cbd digital ( not advance I hate thosee flashing faces). Immediately on cd7 my cheap strip came back positive and the following day but my cbd was negative and I did not have any cm. It is a bit early also im usually ovulate on cd113-18.

Do you think it is possible that the strips pick up small increase in the lh level and show positive while cbd not as sensitive...? I used the same urine to test with both..
Since than the strips show faint lines even after holding my wee fir 6 hours...and of course the digitsl still negative.. Im on cd 10 today with negative results...

Do you think we missed it? Or is it on its way?? If we missed it than we are out as we were hoping to try on 100% positive days ☹️

Any advice would be appreciated!!

I honestly don’t think they work for me!

I’ve used them intermittently for a few months and only ever had one that was anything like a positive, but my temp always shows I’ve ovulated plus all the other signs...think I’ll just not bother next month!

Lines seem to be all over the place - sometimes it starts getting darker over a couple of days then disappears then a few faint ones...I’ve no idea. But if everything else is showing that there’s no problem (cm, temp, regular periods) I’m not going to worry!
