Weird early pregnancy symptoms?

Hi all, first time poster here so please be nice Smile

I'm paranoid that I'm pregnant even though there is a very slim chance of it. I would only be 2-3 weeks pregnant if I was, but I've had quite a few symptoms including:

  • boobs feeling bigger
  • the weird pimply bits around your nipples you're meant to get when you're pregnant
  • yeast infection
  • a very brief 'pulling' or 'stretching' sensation in my lower tummy, but that could just be psychosomatic
  • a strange metallic taste in my mouth for a day that's now gone
  • feeling slightly more sentimental and tearing up at things I ordinarily wouldn't
  • mild constipation and mild opposite version, but that could just be my diet

It's too soon to do a test as my period is not meant to be for a few days but I plan to take one ASAP.

In the meantime, did you lot have any other pregnancy symptoms this early on? Are there any more obscure other things to look out for? I've not been sick or

It's perfectly possible these are all actually period symptoms and I've just gone OTT on worrying Blush but if others felt stuff like this early on then maybe there's more to it...

Why do you think there’s only a slim chance you could be pregnant?

Preg symptoms like you’ve described tend to develop after your period would be due. I think it may be a little early.
Do you want to be pg?

Armygirl We only had unprotected sex once, maybe twice (can't entirely remember Blush ) He pulled out and I had just come off my period a few days prior so there's a very tiny chance.

I don't know if I'd want to be pregnant now, probably not right now as I'm only 20 and it's not an ideal time, although me and DP have discussed having TTC in a few years.

If you have an average 28 day cycle then around day 14 would be when you’re likely to ovulate. It would depend on how long your period lasted, to work out what cycle day you would have had unprotected sex. There is a risk but it does sound as though it’s not particularly high risk. If you aren’t pregnant and don’t want to be soon then get some contraception on board. Have you thought about what method you’d like to use?
Good luck 😊

If your hormone levels are strong enough to give you symptoms, they’re strong enough to show up on a test. Take one and find out x
